IT'S NOT A GIFT IF YOU DON'T WANT IT TO BE

I'm very sorry for all of what just happened.

Okay, so basically, it's Jenna-Hyuga's and PurgedOfSin's birthday. Or was. Yesterday. Since it's now almost 2 AM. ANYWAY, I know Jenna has been under a lot of stress lately because of college and stuff, and Sarah probably has to?? I don't know, but I've wanted to draw Jaxx for a while ANYWAY so. Here is some stuff to cheer you guys up. <3

There has been a lot of talk about DRRR!! because of the anime finally getting a second season, and when I saw that, I thought about Yasu. I know she's very important to Jenna, and since I don't have any DRRR!! characters of my own (except Bre, the Izaya to my Byakuran, if that counts), I thought I might as well draw Yasu to ~celebrate~ the second season even though... I don't... watch it, haha...

This was going to be a full body thing, but after my initial Yasu sketch thoroughly frustrated me, I decided that I should probably NOT DO THAT. So, there is this instead. It probably would have taken me 8 years to complete if I wanted a full body thing because everyone knows I can't draw full body stuff digitally. I have to do that in a sketchbook first and then scan it in and I was not in the mood to plug in my scanner or use a pencil.

I would like to sincerely apologize to Sarah for the awful face Jaxx is making. I don't know what that is. I decided to draw it for giggles with the intention of erasing it later, but it was too hilarious that I had to keep it. I spent a good portion of my time drawing this just trying not to completely lose it over Jaxx's face. _{Probably is the face he makes when he drunkenly checks out the booty, though. The slight blush on his cheeks makes him look slightly drunk lord heLP ME}
Okay, but Jaxx's face... just imagine that in the sketch stages with no hair and missing one eyebrow and zoomed super far in with the caption "hey lil mama lemme whisper in yo ear" because that is exactly what I sent to Equestrian-Equine and that is one more thing that I have to be sorry for.

This was also an excuse to play with several new SAI brushes. Usually, I use two or three brushes for a picture I do in SAI, but I think I used AT LEAST TEN in this one. Yasu and Jaxx's hair ended up getting done with different brushes because I forgot which brush I used for Yasu's hair until Jaxx's hair was done. It is very hard to keep up with this stuff. D: I was also going to use a different brush for their clothes, but I forgot which one it was, and then I picked one at random and liked Yasu's clothes so much that I decided to stick with that one instead. Maybe next time, other brush, maybe next time.

Yasu's freckles??? Make my whole life??? And the flowers on Jaxx's shirt??? I like dots, I guess. //falls over

To be honest, I completely did not even know what I was doing with Jaxx. Jenna purged her gallery NOT A PUN, so now the Jaxx references that were there are gone. As such, I forgot what his eye color was, and Jenna wasn't sure, either. So I just went with brown 'cause I think it suits him? And I think he had a blue shirt kind of like that. I think. Maybe. ;; Hopefully the colors on Yasu are okay too because I pulled up a reference of her, but I couldn't download it because my Internet decided to turn into crap at that exact moment. So her hair might be a little off?? Probably not as off as Jaxx, though, haha... Sorry. :')

SCREEE I hope you guys like it! And I hope you guys get some amusement out of it! Because I know I did. It was so much fun, holy crap.
