OK WELL. I FINALLY FIGURED OUT THAT JOURNALS ACTUALLY DO HAVE WORD LIMITS AND MY LAST ONE HIT IT SO HERE'S ANOTHER.

part I (#1-58)

part II (#59-154)

155. What is the most shameful thing that ever happened to [Franco Fontana (Dogs: Bullets & Carnage)?
The biggest scandal Franco's been involved in is the government one... pertaining to human experiments in an effort to make the "perfect human," which resulted in several instances of humas with animal parts--wings, pig noses, tusks, horns, etc. Franco had to endure several painful procedures that turned him into the freakish lizard man he is today and took away his sense of touch. Since then, Franco hasn't had the opportunity to get involved in more scandals, as he doesn't get out much except to the cafe he frequents... 'cause his appearance scares people...

156. Does [Lee Price] have a large vocabulary? If so, does he like to use it in conversation?
Nah, Lee's got a pretty average vocab for a kid his age, and even if he did have a bigger one, he probably still wouldn't use giant words because he doesn't wanna stop mid-conversation to explain himself all the time. He's not the kind of guy that likes to deliberately frustrate people, so he'd wanna make communicating as easy as possible. Hell, sometimes, it's hard enough to communicate with others with words they all know!

157. Someone is secretly in love with [Eadgyth (Baten Kaitos)]. Who is it and how does your character feel about them?
Fuck, man, I dunno. She's kind of all over the place, going to various regions around the world, so if anyone managed to fall in love with her, it would have to be the kind of person who develops intense feelings for someone in a week or less. And I doubt she would know that person exists or feel the same way about them. She's got a kid in her care, so she's not looking to get too involved with someone else right now. She's gotta focus on the kid.

158. Has [Mariah] ever had surgery (or other major medical treatment)?
Yeah, she's had her tonsils and wisdom teeth out. She's also gotten stitches 'cause she hurt herself when riding her bike as a kid. Don't know if that really counts as... "major" but y'know.

159. Does [Cenere (Katekyo Hitman Reborn!)] care about politics? How vehemently, and what are her views?
Heck, it's been so long since I've worked with her and she was such a minor character even at the time of her creation that I just... totally forgot she existed. I had to scratch my head and think about who she was and why she was on my list for a second.

Anyway.

Cenere does keep up with politics, if only to ensure that she has friends in high places. It would be counterproductive to have an enemy of the Vongola in power, so she likes to make sure the people in power are chill with the Vongola at the very least.

160. Does [Ronxol Saklen (Homestuck)] keep any pets?
She has her lusus, the beaver, but that doesn't really count. Lusii are the closest trolls have to parental guardians, so... calling them a pet is kinda.... She's still gotta get wood for the beaver to chew on, though, so she's still gotta take care of it, but in return, it takes care of her. I don't think they have a pet/owner kind of relationship.

161. Has [Matsushita Yasu (Haikyuu!!)] ever had a mentor?
Aside from the coach of the Numa High volleyball team, not really... Unless you also count his lab partner, whom his terrified of, Minami Kyouko.

162. How do [Blossom Bellossom (Pokémon gijinka)]'s neighbors view her living habits?
Most people haven't been inside of Blossom's house as she doesn't invite people over often, so they can't judge her based on that. But she has a large garden, and she keeps her yard looking nice and keeps up with maintenance on her house and stuff, not letting it fall into disrepair or anything, so a lot of people assume she's got her shit together. She also does let neighbors borrow things when they ask, and she's quiet enough, so they can't complain about her too much.

Maybe the biggest complaint they'd have is when she runs the lawnmower really early in the morning since she's an early bird.

163. Does [Sunday Smoochum (Pokémon gijinka)] hold any beliefs or views that others would consider disturbing, distasteful, offensive, or sickening? What has resulted in these beliefs or views? Does she understand that others would find these views disturbing?
Gosh, she certainly doesn't believe anything too awful. She certainly doesn't condone the murder of innocents or anything. D:

At worst, she's got serious issues about personal space because she just doesn't understand how someone could not like hugs and finds it very hard to control herself. People might think that's distasteful, I suppose.

164. What's the worst stroke of fortune [The Caregiver] ever had?
Crossing paths with Theodor and Fiorenza, two of the most renowned soldiers on the human side of the war. They're very good at what they do, and they're not at all happy about one of their own fighting for the wrong side. They know they gotta kill him, and they're not the types to spare any expenses to get the job done.

It becomes excessively harder for The Caregiver to avoid the two of them, and he's sure they're gonna catch up to him long before he can ever be ready for 'em.

165. In terms of romantic relationships, what is [Shiloh]'s "type"? What does he think his type is? Are the two the same or different?
Shiloh's "type" in any sort of positive relationship - be it friendly or romantic - is soft and gentle because the poor kid can't live with getting yelled at by anyone! He bursts into tears the minute anyone raises their voice.

He would also do well with someone brave and adventurous (as long as they're also gentle and quiet), someone who's not afraid of him or the place he lives.

Shiloh definitely agrees with his type being gentle and quiet, although he'd probably argue about how... up for adventure he really is, ha.

166. How does [Abortion Clinic (Tokyo Ghoul)] handle office politics? How bad are the office politics at her job?
Abortion Clinic - who really needs a better name, Christ - started her own business, a maternity store in the 10th Ward, partly because she can't stand working under someone else and partly to lure in her favorite prey, pregnant women. She makes it a point to hire other people, mostly women, who she is 90% sure aren't ghouls themselves. Pregnant women and their unborn fetuses are such a gourmet dish, and she doesn't need that kind of competition in her life.

Because she owns the business, she doesn't need to get too involved in office politics on the individual level herself, although she does have employees she likes more than others and subconsciously shows favor to them. But she's certainly not above getting more heavily involved in them if she thinks they'll benefit the business as a whole. She tends to look down on people who use office politics for their own personal gain, but she smiles upon those who are just trying to help the business run more smoothly.

167. What is [Minami Keiichi (Haikyuu!!)]'s darkest secret? Who else knows about it?
Ahaha, his darkest secret is probably... the murder plots he's never going to carry out. He just kinda sees an object and thinks to himself, "Theoretically, you could use that to kill someone... if you wanted to..." But he's not going to do it, of course. He can't afford to go to prison. His family needs him. ;;

That's his darkest secret, but there's also his crush on his teammate, Kita, which... isn't really dark... nor is it much of a secret. (;

168. List five things that could motivate [Phylot Aderor (Homestuck)] to use violence.
- someone making fun of him or his friends
- someone using violence against him or his friends
- seeing another troll treat their lusus poorly
- thieves
- Senkad Klusil

169. If someone tried to blackmail [Porue], what would he do? How easy or difficult would it be?
Well, Porue has certainly done more than his fair share of terrible, unmentionable deeds, so people wouldn't be lacking in material to blackmail him with, I'm sure. But because he's proud of being a terrible person... I don't know if threatening to reveal his misdeeds to the public would get to him.

The easiest way to blackmail him would be with his lack of progress with Terry. If you threatened to tell his sister that he hasn't been doing very well with the human he was assigned to corrupt, you just might shut him up. If you're another demon, that is. If you're human, there's no guarantee he won't just kill you 'cause you can't tell Lorco shit if you're dead. But other demons... he'd have a much harder time killing those guys, and they have a more open method of communication with Lorco, so... it's easier to get him to do what you want if you're a demon.

170. What is [Xi (Fallout)]'s most traumatic memory?
I cheated a bit with this one. It was supposed to be a different character/question, but I needed more time to think of an answer, so I switched its place with this one, which wasn't supposed to be posted for another week.

But, God... Xi's most traumatic memory is their first encounter with a deathclaw. It's bad enough that they crash-landed on this planet full of humans who want to tear them apart out of fear and/or for science. But no one told them there were 20-foot killer reptiles on the loose! What kinda fucked up planet is this, anyway? And why the heck would the folks back on the mothership want anything to do with it?

Now they live in constant fear of when the next clawed monster is gonna come around the corner.

(Thank goodness the guys on the mothership only abducted the humans, though, and none of those terrifying lizards.)

171. [Wilson] moves into a new home. What's the first thing he buys for it?
Assuming it was completely empty, he'd buy a refrigerator first. Of course, it's important to keep food from spoiling!

172. How would [Nalkio Saklen (Homestuck)]'s parents describe her?
Nalkio doesn't have parents in the traditional sense, just her lusus, Beaver Mom. If Beaver Mom could speak, she'd probably describe Nalkio as too easily frustrated and flighty, and she'd be completely right.

173. Does [Garnet (MySims)] swear?
As much as I live for Cute Sims saying "fuck," no, she doesn't.

174. Does [Binx] believe he has had any personal encounters with ghosts, the occult, aliens, or the supernatural?
He'll tell you he's had a ghost encounter, but that's just because he associates any little bump in the night with ghosts. It's the only logical explanation to him. Otherwise, the only thing closest he's ever seen to a supernatural being is himself and Oki, who are both shapeshifting cat people.

175. Is there any political issue that could motivate [Ramsey (MySims)] to violence?
???????

Is there? The MySims world isn't highly political anyway. They just don't have a lot of the same issues as we do in our world. I guess you could make an argument for war with SkyHeroes, but still.

That, and Ramsey isn't a very violent guy in general. I would think that if some political issue really was bothering him, he'd talk about it and try to make people aware of it moreso than just... getting violent.

Putting this on hiatus for a bit so that I can focus on school and some personal projects. I do plan on coming back to it, and hopefully that doesn't take another full year.

Last year, on October 24th, I started going through a list of 365 character development questions, answering one every day, or trying to anyway, until school became too hectic for me to keep up with it and I stopped after #58.

Well, I wanted to pick it back up again because it was a ton of fun to explore different characters, some of which weren't even more than names and some of which I hadn't used in years. I compiled some answers so that I'm now two weeks ahead of this, so hopefully, that will help a little when finals come around, if I manage to stay ahead for that long.

I'm going to pick it back up at question #59 for consistency's sake. If you'd like to read the other 58 answers, they are here: Excessively Long

If you wanna take a look through the questions yourself (because they are really fun and helpful), they're here: www.errantdreams.com/fi…

Anyway. Here's this thing now.

59. What one person does [Prinse Taoryl (Homestuck)] most wish she didn't have to put up with, but feels she has to?
Haha, one person? Oh, man, that's a hard one. Prinse wishes she didn't have to put up with most of the other trolls honestly. She considers herself above them. But she's convinced to join a SGRUB session with them thanks to the two friends she actually does have, Demdia and Quaire.

And because she's in the SGRUB session, it pretty much forces her to work with frustrating people. Her client player is Muthyo, and the two of them don't get along at all, but she does gain some satisfaction by unnecessarily tearing up his hive.

60. What does [Liliane Adam] consider to be the ugliest thing she's ever seen?
The ugliest thing Liliane's ever seen is her own face after "falling" down a flight of stairs. She's quite vain, and if there's anything wrong with her face, it's the end of the world. The injuries to her pride while sporting that black eye were far worse than the physical injuries she sustained because of her "fall."

61. How does [Zach Dean] approach work? Is he organized and methodical? Disorganized and wild? Energetic and enthusiastic? Lazy and unconcerned? Something else entirely?
Zach gets his work done. Eventually. He deliberately spends too much time on certain mundane tasks, such as sweeping out a storage closet for an hour or two, mostly to piss off his boss, Mr. Koller. And then he rushes through the rest of his work for the sake of getting it all done by the end of the day.

This results in a lot of sloppiness, and Koller is currently looking for a replacement for Zach, but every time he interviews someone and tries to call them back... no one answers.

62. Where does [Onares] fall on the order vs. chaos spectrum?
Onares is very chaotic. I mean, she's a demon, so that's to be expected, right? She's a twisted skeletal mess on spider legs, and her main purpose in life is more or less to fuck shit up. As a lesser demon, she's... supposed to submit to the higher demons, but she's... near impossible to train. And probably doesn't care to understand the higher demons' orders. She just crawls around on those spindly legs of hers lookin' for somethin' to break and/or eat.

63. What is [Jordan (MySims)]'s least favorite physical activity?
Swimming.

I guess she likes swimming more in theory than in practice. She likes looking for cute swimsuits with her roommate. She thinks the beach is really pretty. She can get excited when someone says, "Let's go to the pool!" (I think she's more just excited that she got invited to go somewhere.)

But in the end, she just... doesn't find swimming entertaining. Actually being in the water is the least exciting part of going to the pool or beach.

64. Does [Jamie (Katekyo Hitman Reborn!)] like to cook? If so, what does he cook and how good is he at it?
Jamie does like to cook! It's something of an acquired taste; he didn't particularly like to cook before, but he forced himself to do it so that he could impress his parents. He tries to get good at a variety of things for the sake of impressing his folks.

But he has come to really like it, and he's pretty good at it, too! He specializes in desserts and pasteries, which he started making to satisfy his father's sweet tooth, but now he just finds it really relaxing to make them! Maybe he should put this whole Mafia and world domination thing behind him and just open up a bakery or something, haha~

65. What would [Abel Sableye (Pokémon gijinka)] like to see written on his tombstone?
Probably a quote about wisdom. He generally hates himself, but the one thing he's somewhat confident in is that he's able to give people decent advice and has been told by a couple people that he's wise beyond his years.

He'd be fine with a regular old "rest in peace" or just his name with his birth and death years, though. After all, he's not going to be around to read his tombstone. He's gonna be dead. As long as no one inscribes anything mean on it, I'm sure he'll be fine.

66. Has [Kitten] ever been arrested? For what? Did she deserve it? Does she feel that she deserved it?
It's truly a miracle that Kitten hasn't been arrested yet, especially as tensions between the government and citizens escalate. She could easily be slapped with trespassing charges for ducking in and out of restricted areas. And then there's also the little issue of criminals living in her house. Her... erm... friends aren't exactly the greatest at being inconspicuous, either.

And yet, getting arrested is not part of her story. Probably unrealistic, but... I've accepted the fact that nothing about her story is very serious at this point. It's mostly an experimental mess for me to have a bit of fun with, ha.

Still, if she did get arrested, she... would deserve it. I mean, she's blatantly breaking the law. Although I don't think she'd feel like she deserved it because most of what she did was for the sake of helping others. Doesn't mean it's not still illegal, but... her heart was kinda in the right place, I guess.

67. Under ordinary circumstances, what would [Garnet (MySims)] consider to be a crisis?
My favorite thing about this question is that "ordinary circumstances" in the MySims universe don't count as ordinary anywhere else. Rocketships and eyeballs grow on trees, my dudes.

Garnet is a pretty easy-going person, very optimistic, so it would take like... something on the level of a natural disaster or whatever to get her to think of it as a "crisis." Something really, really big. Although she's not a particularly action-driven character, she does tend to think most things will just... happen to work out for the best. She doesn't really... do a whole lot to improve the situation herself, just kinda waits around for it to get better on its own.

You know that meme where the dog is in the room on fire and it's like, "This is fine"? That's Garnet but in a completely non-sarcastic way. She really will sit there while the room is burning and expect things to work out. OTL

68. Detail one secret shame [Kitten] feels.
tfw the random number generator gives you a character you just did but ok

On a silly note, Kitten is a little embarrassed by her love of anime and cosplay.

On a serious note, she's very ashamed of herself for not being able to do more for her friends. Her friends slowly leave her house, and she never hears from any of them again. There is no guarantee that their lives got any easier after leaving, and she worries that some of them might even be dead. She blames herself for not being able to guarantee their happiness.

But that was a super unrealistic goal to begin with.

69. What is [Martin Miser]'s favorite hangout?
i hate him get him out of my face

Stereotypical, but his favorite hangout is the food court in the mall. He likes to eat, especially with good company around, so the food court is a good place to get friends together for lunch on a Saturday or something.

70. How does [Nalkio Saklen (Homestuck)] feel about different types of terrain--jungle, beaches, mountains, forest, plains, ocean, etc.?
The best thing about the madness that is SGRUB is that it pretty much allows Nalkio to experience every kind of terrain at least once. I mean, she goes from living in the woods to being on a planet made of ice and sharp metal. She gets frustrated when she has to travel to a different planet for the sake of the game and then has to adjust to that planet's terrain when she was just getting used to the last one!

Does she have a favorite and/or least favorite type?

She doesn't mind the forest and actually really starts to miss it after starting SGRUB. It's where she grew up and what she's most adjusted to. As much as Nalkio would like to be spontaneous, she really... clings to routine a lot more than she'd like, and she's not particularly proud of that fact.

She quickly discovers that snowy/icy terrains are absolute hell, haha! She has such a hard time on LORAI. Other than that, she's also not fond of being underground, in caves, or just... surrounded on all sides by dirt. Makes her claustrophobic.

Does she associate any particularly pleasant or traumatic past events with any type of terrain?

Not... particularly. I guess watching her friends die over and over again and even dying herself a few times as their Slyph of Time constantly tries to repair their doomed timelines counts. But... her friends die all over the place. It isn't just confined to one planet/type of terrain. (;

71. What sort of legacy does [Roxanne] hope to leave behind?
This is probably a cliche, but Roxanne really hopes to be remembered as a kind person, maybe even a good influence. If even just one person remembers her as a good woman who tried her best, that's enough for her. She doesn't need to go down in history books as long as at least one person remembers her fondly.

72. Imagine that a local newspaper or alumni newsletter has chosen to spotlight [Ace (MySims)] this month. Write that article, or the interview held by the reporter.
Ugh, fuck, I have no idea how to write "spotlight" articles, especially for an entire month, but here's an attempt at an article, anyway.

Local Man Finds Missing Refrigerator

MYTOWN -- Last Friday, Patrick Rhino's refrigerator was reported missing, but it mysteriously appeared in the back of Ace's Diner this morning. "I didn't even recognize it as the same fridge at first," said Ace, going on to explain that it had been painted over with different Essences, presumably to keep its owner from identifying it. After realizing that it was, in fact, the very same refrigerator, he immediately called Patrick Rhino, who thanked him profusely and told him he deserved a medal for his heroics. Mayor Rosalyn considered giving him a medal, but he told her that there was no need. "All I want is for the Essence Master to bring me a new refrigerator for my diner, preferably one that doesn't already belong to somebody else," Ace told reporters. Investigations to find out the identity of the culprit who took Rhino's refrigerator and put it in Ace's Diner are currently under way.

73. What sorts of dreams does [Honey] usually have?
Ha. Nightmares. Especially the ones where she's running from something, and the thing she's running from can go as fast as it wants, but she's stuck at a snail's pace. Yeah, those.

74. Is ["Sylvia" Halaxsapiel] introspective?
I would say so. She certainly has a lot of time for introspection, being more or less immortal and everything, pfft. And she does prefer to be left alone with her own thoughts.

75. What is [Brian Starr]'s least favorite animal?
Snakes.

They creep him out with how wiggly and "slimy" they are, and there are also poisonous snakes that could kill him, so yeah. He just doesn't trust snakes, and you'll never get him to touch or hold one or allow one to be kept as a pet in his house.

Just. No.

76. What, if any, chronic medical conditions does [Shun (Katekyo Hitman Reborn!)] have, and how does she handle and treat them?
Damn, lame answer, but...

She doesn't. Shun is perfectly healthy.

77. How does [Turin] view the opposite sex?
Turin appreciates women's beauty and finds them very aesthetically pleasing, but he doesn't like that they have things like free will and don't have to listen to him. He wants to control every aspect of their lives. He wants them to submit to him.

He thinks women should be there for him to look at, not to compete with.

This leads to him searching for ways to create living dolls, "perfect women" who will have to listen to every word he says and be at his beckon call, and he succeeds in creating two of them, Suzette and Marlo, although Marlo is his favorite.

78. How does [Liliane Adam] feel when she visits someone in the hospital (or other major medical facility)?
It depends on who it is. If it's someone else, she'd feel proud of herself but also anxious to leave. "Look at me, doing the right thing and visiting this poor person. Praise me and then get me out of here."

If it was Yann, she'd feel anxious, angry, and probably a little guilty. It's most likely her fault he's there, after all. She's by his side while he's in the hospital for two reasons: 1) he is her husband, so she does have a little obligation to be there; 2) she wants to make sure he keeps his heckin' mouth shut.

79. What is [Quaire Porlan (Homestuck)]'s secret dream? What one goal, ambition or desire does she keep hidden from others, and why? What would she do to achieve it?
Quaire likes Nalkio quite a bit and would like to join the troll Mafia she's trying to start up, but she doesn't tell anyone for two reasons: 1) class differences, with her being a purpleblood and Nalkio being a rustblood and all. The purplebloods are usually supposed to look down on the rustbloods with scorn, but Quaire really admires Nalkio. 2) She is... fairly certain Nalkio doesn't like or trust her very much, and if she reveals her plan to gain Nalkio's trust and join her troll Mafia too early, she is afraid Nalkio will shut her down and never let her in ever in her life. And because she's a purpleblood, her life is a pretty damn long time.

Write a list of [Quaire Porlan]'s top five lifetime achievement goals.

1. ESCAPE THE EVIL VENDDICTIVE CLUTCHES OF SWAN MOM
2. MEET FRIENDDS
3. AC2UIRE AS MANY RIBBONS AS POSSIBLE
4. STEAL ALL OF DDUGESSS TREASURE WHICH HE SAYS HE DDOESNT HAVE BUT HE SO TOTALLY DDOES ANDD MAKE NALKIO LIKE ANDD TRUST ME
5. CON2UER THE UNIVERSE WITH MAFIA BUDDDDIES

Starting at age 15, write down one major goal for each five years of [Quaire Porlan]'s life until her current age.

Quaire is 16 in human years, so I guess that means I only have to write down one goal, haha!

Aside from all of the Mafia business and her plan to snatch Dugess's treasure away from him, a goal she hopes to complete sometime in the next five years is beating SGRUB. It's... not really looking all that great for her, though. What, with the infinite doomed timelines and all that.

80. Who was [Petey Wycoff]'s best friend during childhood?
Ha, Petey didn't get out a whole lot when he was younger, and he's always been pretty anxious about meeting new people, so his best friend when he was a kid was probably... his grandpa. He stayed home most of the time, and his grandpa told him a lot of stories and played with him often. He always feels most comfortable at home with his grandpa and shares a very close relationship with him.

Outside of his family, one of his closest friends was Jett, and I'm surprised they continue to be friends, considering Jett is the one who dragged Petey into the whole rebellion business. He's just trying to live a quiet life. Leave him Olone.

81. Has [Mitchell Clark] ever deliberately set out to emotionally hurt someone?
Oh, god, no. Mitchell has suffered emotional abuse himself and knows how badly it can fuck up one's entire sense of self, and he would never purposefully do that to anyone. He sets out to minimize the emotional damage done in every situation.

82. To whom did [Quaire Porlan (Homestuck)] give birthday presents to last year, and what did she give them?
Quaire sent all of her friends--Nalkio, Citire, Demdia, and Prinse--glitter for their birthdays. She's that asshole. She didn't do it to intentionally be mean or anything, though. She just thinks glitter is pretty and that other people would enjoy it, too, so she sends her friends glitter in colors she associates with them (their blood colors and/or color of their text in the chatrooms), but... most people do not share her same fondness for it when they open the box and it gets all over their damn hive.

I passed out at 8 with the intention of updating this with two questions tomorrow, but I can't stay asleep for more than an hour these days because of all the Stress™, so now I'm awake again with the intention of working myself back to the point of exhaustion. Why not?? ((: pls come kill me dead i'll love you forever from the afterlife

83. If [Istoas] had nearly unlimited wealth, what would he spend it on?
God... I hate when this thing gives Istoas questions regarding worldly things because he really... has no interest in existing the human world at all. I guess if you gave him unlimited wealth and forced him into the human world, he would spend it on luxurious things like sports cars and fancy clothes and a mansion and a vacation house... Like... really living it up, but only because he wants to inspire envy in other people and make those people hate their lives and feel as miserable as he can possibly get 'em. He only spends money to make other people sad, not for his own sake. 8)

But... like I said... he's perfectly content in Hell, thank you very much.

84. What does [Arabella Rose] eat for breakfast?
Arabella isn't one of those people who eats the same thing for breakfast every day. She'd get bored too easily. But whatever she eats, she always makes sure it's a balanced meal with lots of fruit, some protein, a glass of milk probably. Grains... y'know... the food groups.... Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and Arabella is a dancer, so she knows it's important to eat well and stay in shape. She can be kind of a health nut and nags her friends (especially Kisah) when they don't eat a proper breakfast.

I can't wait for this hell week to be over already.

85. Where does [Sokraseah] fall on the kindness vs. cruelty spectrum?
FDKSLAFLKDSF CRUELTY!! THE FARTHEST POINT ON THE CRUELTY SIDE OF THE SCALE. HE'S THE DEMON KING. HE'S LITERALLY ONE OF THE CRUELEST CHARACTERS I HAVE. NO MERCY. ALL THE OTHER LITTLE DEMONS LIVE IN FEAR BECAUSE OF THIS DICK. HE DOESN'T HAVE A KIND BONE IN HIS BODY. HE'S JUST... REALLY, REALLY BAD! HE SURE DOES LOVE WATCHIN THE WORLD BURN LMAO!!!

86. What are [Cyrilla (Fallout)]'s beliefs regarding death and the afterlife?
Despite being raised in what I assume is a Christian environment (I mean, how many non-Christian parents do you know who have Bible verses framed? *squints @ James*), Cyrilla never clung too tightly to the faith and no longer practices it. She hasn't completely given up on the idea of a God existing, but if one does exist, she's not sure it's the Christian one. I suppose she's agnostic and doesn't really have a good idea of what's going to happen after she dies. Part of her... does hope that there's no God or afterlife, though, that she'll just die and that'll be it... because if Heaven and Hell really do exist, she's pretty sure she's never going to get into the former at this point.

But then, if there is a Heaven, it means her dad got to go somewhere nice at least. And well... if she does end up going to Hell, there's plenty of people there with whom she's still got a bone to pick.

And... death became a lot more real after she escaped from Raven Rock, when rage gave way to fear allowing her father's death and her own near-death experience to finally sink in. She kinda went from "People die out here a lot, I guess" to "People die out here a lot." She's become slighty, slightly more cautious than she used to be, and she doesn't pick as many fights anymore or walk off quite so many roofs for the sake of "science," just to see what would happen.

But see... she only really cares about death when it's directly affecting her or the people she's close to. (I wrote "person" instead of "people" at first because... I guess there technically is only one now... after... you know.... hahahaha........) Even if she's come to see death as a near-future possibility instead of something that's decades away for her, she doesn't give so many shits about other people and still does a lot of the... murder thing, especially when somebody's death is convenient for her or they've done something to upset her in some way.

I guess all of that is more... "feelings" and not really... "beliefs"????? And they do tend to change depending on her mood and/or the people involved. Hm.

87. What is [Jessica]'s least favorite food?
Coconut. She hates anything with coconut in it. She claims it's a texture thing, not a taste thing.

88. If [Maeda Tsuka (Haikyuu!!)] could achieve any one position of authority, what would he choose and why?
Ah, Tsuka doesn't really strive for power or authority, although he does end up as vice-captain for Numa High's volleyball team. But... he would want to be a teacher or a coach, I think. Something like that, where he can help kids learn and reach their full potential. He's the kind of guy who would use authority to try and make the world a better place, not just... re-enforce the status quo.

AAYYYYY HAPPY HALLOWEEN. Unfortunately, I have no art to show for it. //lies down
But I do hope everyone had a good one, whatever you decided to do!! I had classes all day, but then I went to KFC with a friend. And I didn't have a real costume, but... I picked some things out of my closet and was able to pull of a halfway decent Hot Topic 14-year-old. So y'know.

Maybe next year will actually be the year I finally do some holiday art...

And also, now that we're at the end of the month, this concludes a month of consistent updates on this damn thing, haha! Can't believe I've kept up with it this long. :')

Anyway. Here's this fucker.

89. What style of furniture would [Thom] never purchase?
Anything that feels uncomfortable or looks impractical. He doesn't care much for aesthetics. Despite having a pretty decent amount of wealth, he doesn't have a whole lot of actual furniture around his house, and the stuff he does have doesn't follow any consistent theme or style. I'm pretty sure he found his couch by a dumpster in an alley and just... decided he'd bring it home with him.

Ha, by that logic, I guess Thom would never purchase furniture at all if he could avoid it. If it was possible to fill his house entirely with furniture he found on the streets, he'd go for it.

90. Does [Gifu (Baten Kaitos)] enjoy shopping? Hate it? Tolerate it?
I don't know if Gifu enjoys "shopping" as much as she enjoys... looking. She likes to go from vendor to vendor, just fiddle around with the stuff they have, and ultimately leave everybody frustrated that she doesn't actually buy anything. She buys necessities, but she doesn't really buy anything for fun because she gets more amusement out of her interactions with other people than she ever could with objects.

91. What is the first thing [Reese Pachirisu (Pokémon gijinka)] does when he gets up in the morning?
Open the curtains. The windows too, if the weather is nice. He loves gettin' that fresh air whenever possible. It invigorates him!!

92. When [Hikaru (Katekyo Hitman Reborn!)] goes shopping, what stores does he frequent?
The only stores he really visits besides the grocery store and stuff are beauty supply stores for hair dye 'cause he's gotta keep up those aesthetics. And he always pays with cash to keep that paper trail off him. But otherwise, he doesn't really like shopping for fun, so...

93. What is the best meal [Millicent] ever had?
The best meal Milly's ever had is her grandaunt's homemade giant meatballs. She has yet to have a single meatball that tops those her grandaunt makes, and she desperately wants to figure out that old woman's secret recipe.

94. What mythological creature best personifies [Akiyama Ken (Haikyuu!!)]?
Goddamn... The research required for this question... There's a metric fuckton of mythological creatures out there.

I did finally get the sense to narrow it down to frog creatures since I associate Akiyama heavily with frogs. (And mountains. Unfortunately, I didn't find any mountainous frog creatures.)

And from there, I concluded that frog creature he is most like is the vodník of Czech, Slovene, and Slovak folklore. Wealth, in the form of souls stored in porcelain cups, is very important to the vodníci, but there are good and bad vodníci, and not all of them are actually willing to drown people to acquire their souls. Some vodníci will even help fisherman by catching fish for them in exchange for some tobacco, and when the vodníci aren't running their territories, they seem fond of just... chillaxin' on the shore.

Akiyama comes from a very wealthy family--that wealth has always been part of his heritage--but he is by no means malicious or vain about it, and he wouldn't hurt others for the sake of acquiring more. He often helps his teammates, especially Hosoya Itsuki, although not necessarily in exchange for something else. And when there are no other responsibilities to keep up with, no "territory to run," he sure does like chillaxin'.

The vodníci are actually more human-like in appearance, but they are a variation on the vodyanoy, which does look like a giant frog but is also much more vicious. So, I didn't think the vodyanoy suited Akiyama very well, despite being the more frog-ish of the two.

95. Describe [Aina]'s soulmate?
Aina's "soulmate" would be ambitious and outgoing, someone who could convince her to go out into the world and experience things, because if not for a person like that, she would just stay home all the time and never see anything. They would also have to be kind-hearted and generous, like Aina herself, and they would have to appreciate nature on some level. Maybe they wouldn't be as passionate about plants as she is, but someone who hates nature is a major dealbreaker. They have to at least be able to think flowers are pretty and stuff.

Skipped yesterday because I went back home to vote in my first election. So... here's two questions while I anxiously wait for the fate of the world to be revealed to us.

96. What is one major regret [Alison Drake] has about her life so far? Does she plan to do anything about, and if so, what?
Ha, by far, the thing Alison regrets the most is taking a job at Vincent's parents' mansion. There are certain aspects of the job that she doesn't regret. For example, she gets along with Vincent and is glad for the opportunity to make a friend when she didn't have many before. But the decision to stay and work in a mansion full of malevolent spirits (that the owners refuse to admit exist) is definitely her worst decision to date.

She does tough it out for a while, but after the spirits are put to rest, she packs up her things and goes to find a more peaceful, less haunted job. Even if the ghosts are technically not a problem anymore, too many weird things have gone down in that house for her to continue working there. Vincent, while sad to see her go, does understand where she's coming from, and she promises to write often, so... they remain friends, despite--or maybe because of--all the weird ghosty shit they experienced together.

97. If [Pan] were to paint the inside of her house, what color scheme would she use?
Pink and green. She likes bright, happy colors, especially since the city tends to be so drab and bleak and sad. A person's home is their sanctuary, where they go to escape all the bullshit going on outside, so she would definitely go with something cheerful.

"Taylor, you're just projecting your favorite color scheme onto your character." Shh. Shhhhh...

98. What is [Minami Keiichi (Haikyuu!!)]'s favorite weather?
Minami likes when it's overcast and cool. Not raining, though. He doesn't like it when the weather is bad because it makes running errands a real hassle, but he also doesn't like it when the sun is out and everything is really hot!! He likes it to be cool, comfortable, pleasant.

99. What is [James]'s favorite childhood memory?
The evening of his first recital. The recital itself went terribly; he missed more than a few notes and even forgot to go back up on stage for one of the group performances. But his entire family came and supported him, despite the many mistakes he made. His tone-deaf aunt didn't even realize he had made mistakes, and his dad wiped the embarrassed tears from his eyes and assured him that forgetting to go back up for that group performance was no big deal, he'd get the next one.

For dinner, the entire family went to his favorite restaurant, and they even let him get dessert, deeming what he considered an abysmal performance absolutely worthy of reward.

If not for his family's unconditional support, he probably would have given up on music a long time ago.

If [James] were in the habit of keeping a journal, what good memories could he go back and revisit through that journal? Would he do so often?

I can see James keeping a sentence journal, where each daily entry is only a setence long. In which case, he would write exclusively about good memories. Single-sentence entries don't leave a lot of room to dwell on the bad, and he doesn't like being negative, anyway. He is much more likely to write about a highlight of his day, even if the only good thing that happened that day is that it didn't rain quite as much as it could have.

And yes, I think he would revisit the entries a lot, especially when he is feeling sad. He's basically making a long list of reasons to live with his positive sentences. On October 23rd, he saw the cutest golden retriever, and in the future, there will probably be more cute golden retrievers.

100. From [Mercy Misdreavus (Pokémon gijinka)]'s point of view, what is her greatest strength?
Wow, I can't believe I've answered 100 of these questions. Even if I didn't answer them all right in a row and took almost a year off... it's still pretty impressive, I think.

Mercy considers her greatest strength to be her cleverness. Some of the pranks she pulls are quite elaborate, and she pats herself on the back for thinking of them.

Most people just think she's a jerk, though.

101. What is [Shasta]'s least favorite season?
Ah, it's probably a tie between summer and winter. She doesn't like either of the extremes. She wants it to be cool, not cold, or warm, not hot. Both winter and summer are absolute hell, and whenever it's winter, she wishes for the heat of summer, but whenever it's summer, she wishes it was winter. Just... she really appreciates the moderate seasons.

102. If [Casey (MySims)] saw someone drop a large sum of money and knew that she could probably take it without anyone noticing, what would she do?
She would definitely give it back to the person who dropped it!! She's no criminal! Unless it was Patrick. And then she'd be like, "Nice, free money." Because fuck Patrick.

103. How does [Cleo] make a living and why did she chose that route?
Cleo makes her living as the lead singer of Paws Up!, a band she started with three of her friends! They've become pretty famous in recent times, which does put some pressure on the four of them, but they are all doing their best!! And they are very grateful for the opportunities they've been given! Or well... Cleo is at least... I can't really vouch for the others. I don't think Thom is in this just for the art, for example. But...

Cleo wanted to start a band because she's super passionate about making music and performing! It's something she's always wanted to do since she was a little kitten, and she's never given up on her dream of being a singer. And her purrserverence paid off because now she's able to do what she loves full-time!

104. Overall, is [Yann Pierre] satisfied with his childhood?
Yes, I would say so. There are a lot of days where he really misses it.

He was very close to his family but hasn't had the opportunity to speak to them much since getting married. His wife, Liliane, often isolates him from them, so he does yearn for the days of his childhood when he could actually see them regularly, when things were a lot simpler.

No one mistreated him as a kid, and he lived a pretty normal childhood other than growing up with a fuckton of siblings. I mean, most people do not have quite so many siblings, but still. It wasn't bad. He got along with pretty much everyone in his family and was treated pretty well.

Nowadays, however...

105. It's the first day of truly good weather that [Zane Zangoose (Pokémon gijinka)] has seen this year. What does he do?
Knowing him... probably use the opportunity to very publicly challenge his rival, Hakkara the Seviper, in the middle of the town square. I mean, if the weather is nice and everyone else is going to be outside to see them throw down, why not?

Everyone else is just like, "This shit again? Really?" Just... let them enjoy their nice walk in the square, Zane. Jesus Christ.

106. Has [Peggy] ever quit a job? If so, why?
Peggy is, like, 11. A little young to be having and quitting jobs, haha!

107. How does [Demdia Neglar (Homestuck)] feel about protecting the environment? If she cares about it, what does she do about it? What doesn't she do that she knows she could?
Well, being a seadweller, she does care about keeping the ocean clean because it's where her lusus has to live. Also, she lives on an island, and shit washes up on the shore sometimes. Unfortunately, it's a really small island, so she doesn't exactly have much to do with the trash that does show up besides burn it (potentially dangerous) or fling it back in the ocean (futile). As much as she would like to clean up the ocean, her inability to get off the island and lack of space for the garbage that shows up makes it extremely difficult. She knows that she shouldn't throw the trash back in the ocean, but sometimes she gets frustrated and does it anyway, with the intention to deal with it another day when it washes back up again.

108. A terrible crime has been committed, and evidence points to [Chadley]'s guilt. He didn't commit the crime, but he doesn't have an immediate way to prove it. What does he do?
I mean, he could always pin it on one of the criminals hiding out in his house. Like... there are much more likely subjects than this ordinary kid right in front of your noses, cops, but okay.

I don't think he would do that, though, and not just because said criminals are important to his sister. They technically live in the same house as he does, so if it really was one of them who committed the crime, he would be harboring a criminal and would still be at fault.

I mean, if the cops weren't busting down his door or arresting him that very instant, he would probably go to Pan because she has more experience with avoiding authorities and directing the evidence somewhere else. Well, Bunny Doll is experienced with that, too, but he doesn't exactly trust Bunny Doll as much. He doesn't really trust Pan 100% either, but she'll do in a pinch.

If he didn't have the option to ask for help, though, I dunno... He'd probably just start crying, haha! He's not prepared for this kind of thing! Maybe he'd ask for a lawyer, just because that's what the alleged criminals do on every crime TV show, but he is not entirely sure how lawyers work, either!!! Don't send him to jail, he's fragile, he'll never survive...

109. What is the best romantic relationship [Thaddeus (Fallout)] has ever had?
Ha, I don't think any of Tadd's relationships could be counted as "romantic" or even... "relationships," for that matter. He's not above getting with pretty much anyone for caps or chems, but he hasn't been in a stable, loving relationship with someone else yet, and I guess he would kind of have to have a relationship first before he could have a "best" or even just... a "good" one.

The best fuck he's had so far would probably be Trinnie. Probably. Neither one of 'em really remembered anything in the morning, so there's no way to be completely sure. He assumes it was good, though. (;

110. Does [Lefril Totena (Homestuck)] know how to hunt or fish? Is he good at it? Does he do it for recreation or for food?
He's good at catching beetles for recreational and research purposes! Unlike his dancestor, he doesn't like to eat them and usually releases them back into the wild after he's done observing them.

Other than that, nah, he can't really do the hunting thing very well.

111. What does [Queens]'s name mean to her?
Queens gets her name from the borough in New York City. She grew up in the area, and she's damn proud of it, so she chose the name Queens for herself upon leaving home as a constant reminder of her roots. No matter how far she travels, she'll never forget the people she met or the lessons she learned while growing up in NYC.

112. Has [Eleanor] ever watched someone die?
She's a kid in the middle of a zombie apocalypse. What do you think? There is... plenty of the death thing to go around.

But she... tends to be more apathetic to it and doesn't really realize the severity of someone else dying. She's not super fucked up by the death she has witnessed, which negatively affects her relationship with the rest of the group she rolls with because they don't... trust her very much after witnessing her reactions... or lack thereof.

113. How easily does [Benny Banette (Pokémon gijinka)] get bored? How does she respond to boredom?
Benny doesn't get bored very easily. She's usually pretty good at keeping herself occupied. But when she does get bored, oh man... she doesn't deal with it very well at all. She holds grudges for literally ever and develops grudges over the most trivial things, and having nothing to do gives her plenty of time to dwell on the past and think about that one bitch on the playground when she was 8 years old. And once she gets herself worked up over things that literally do not matter at all anymore, she becomes extremely unpleasant to be around, as she just starts... screaming.

114. Is [Bunny Doll] an optimist or a pessimist?
I'd call her a pessimist. She knows that the world isn't sunshine and roses, although she tends to be pretty apathetic about it and doesn't usually comment on the current state of things. She's resigned herself to the world being a sucky place and isn't in a hurry to change it for the better. In fact, she often embraces the shittiness of the universe by being pretty shitty herself, haha!

115. A stranger makes a crude comment about [Gifu (Baten Kaitos)]. How does she react?
Well, the thing with Gifu is that she probably wouldn't react at all. She doesn't care much about what other people say about her, so she'd just let it slide. Unless she was feeling particularly playful, in which case, she might turn around and give 'em a little smile and a wink.

116. In what arena is [Bobbi "Bebe" Ryuzaki (Death Note)] most competitive?
Bebe isn't a very competitive person in general. She tends not to take friendly competition very seriously since she feels like it's supposed to be more about the fun than anything.

I suppose you could say she competes with the police in a way, seeing as she has to at least try to stay a step or two ahead of them for her cousin's sake. Kind of like... the world's most convulted game of tag. (;

117. Open up the cabinets in [Melvin (Golden Sun)]'s bathroom and describe what you find there.
The cabinets in Melvin's bathroom are rather empty, containing a cloth or two and a couple of bars of soap, which Melvin's adoptive mother would have made from scratch. There is also a nail file to make sure her claws don't get too long. The family keeps no herbs in the bathroom due to the parents' concern that Melvin will get curious and eat them, despite her promises not to.

118. Does [Mourib Klusil (Homestuck)] know how to swim?
Honestly, not a lot of my trolls besides Quaire and Demdia, who both grew up near large bodies of water, know how to swim. So, that would be a "no" on Mourib's swimming abilities because he never had any real reason to learn.

119. What social niche did [Melvin (Golden Sun)] fill as a child--bully, nerd, cool kid, something else?
Melvin has never really fit into any social niche, even today. As a beastman raised by humans, she never quite fully belonged to either group and spent a lot of her childhood playing near the water by herself. Nowadays, she's taken up playing the tambourine in Vande's band, so maybe she does count as a "band kid," but even then, part of her always feels like she's the one the other band members like her the least and they wouldn't care too much if she wasn't around.

120. What is [Prinse Taoryl (Homestuck)]'s least favorite holiday or celebration?
Prinse dislikes her wriggling day, which isn't at all uncommon for Alternian trolls. Wriggling days tend to not be "celebrated" as much as they are lamented over, particularly with more negative, bitter trolls like Prinse.

As far as other general celebrations go, any celebration that isn't accompanied by music isn't worth her time, and not just any music, of course; it has to be just the right kind of music, both easy to listen to and fitting for the occasion. If she disapproves of the music selection (which she does often), she is not going to enjoy the celebration very much at all.

121. Does [Zoe] typically remember her dreams?
Yes, or at least she likes to think she does. She's always very excited to tell people about her dreams in the morning, and she does indeed remember most of the major things, but she fudges a lot of the little details to make it seem more interesting and to not have to admit that she doesn't remember it all.

122. Pick three adjectives that best describe [Ronxol Saklen (Homestuck)]'s outer manner.
Intelligent, capable, safe.

Honorable mention: boring.

You know, I just realized that the two-month mark of me updating this journal was 3 days ago. I've been at this for 2 months now, which is longer than I kept up with the last one, so... nice!

123. One of [Kitae]'s parents said something to her that she'll never forget. What are the words that will always echo in her ears?
Her mother told her that she would always be there whenever Kitae needed her. Wherever she was, whatever time it was, all she had to do was call. When Kitae winds up on a different planet with no way to contact her mother or bring her to where she is, the constant echoing of these words is no help and only serves to make her very sad.

124. What is [Ronxol Saklen (Homestuck)]'s favorite physical activity?
Running for her life.

Just going on walks through the forest. Real low-key. She's physically stronger and more athletic than her dancestor, Nalkio, but most of her other physical activities are in the form of chores, such as cutting wood for her furnace, so she doesn't enjoy them as much as she just... puts up with them because they need to get done.

125. What's the worst nightmare [Hosoya Itsuki (Haikyuu!!)] remembers ever having?
His brother, Satoshi, became king of the land and banned memes, puns, and fun in general and had Itsuki thrown in prison for making a stupid pun. He cannot control himself, see. And while he was rotting away in prison, Pepe the Frog came to bust him out, and he thought the day was saved! Until one of the guards caught and brutally slaughtered Pepe the Frog right in front of him, and then he knew all hope was lost... and woke up.

Hey, they can't all be serious answers.

126. What does [Queens] spend her money on?
Food and ammo mostly. I feel like this is very similar to Hikaru's answer when he got a shopping question, but... really... Queens is not one for fancy stuff either and just buys the necessities. The others try to get her to pick up some unnecessary things for them while she's out, but she's like, "NO. Go get those things yourself!"

I haven't been able to update in a couple of days because my external hard drive, which contains all of my files for everything, was in the animation lab for a good 36 hours so I could render out my final project for 3D class. I'm going to upload two questions today and two tomorrow, and that should get me all caught up, I think.

127. What hobby or side interest is most important to [Beelphegor (Ao no Exorcist)]?
This is such an obvious answer that I kinda wanna stab myself, but...

Sleep, of course! What could be more important than sleep or lazing about?

Does sleep count as a hobby? Well, it certainly does in his world!

128. What is [Simone]'s least favorite weather?
Snowy and windy... She hates it! It's completely miserable and makes her wanna sleep for a decade.

129. What is [Rae-Dawn Koller]'s attitude toward education and learning, either formal or informal?
Raised by her wealthy, sheltering father, Rae-Dawn definitely believes that a formal education is important. She couldn't imagine her life without it and thinks a good education is the key to success. Because of this, she does look down on people who haven't received a "proper" education somewhat, although she'd never tell them she disapproves of informal education because she despises conflict and getting on people's bad sides. But yeah... she's... definitely the kind of girl who values book smarts.

130. What is [Minami Keiichi (Haikyuu!!)]'s favorite piece of artwork?
Minami is not an artsy guy. He doesn't understand art very well, so it would be hard for him to pin down one particular piece that he reveres above all others. He likes landscape paintings the most, though. He doesn't get abstract art at all and gets frustrated by paintings that are just a circle on an otherwise blank canvas or sculptures that are just a plain block of wood.

Describe any pieces of artwork found in [Minami Keiichi (Haikyuu!!)]'s home or office.

The artwork Minami's family keeps around the house was mostly done by his little sisters. Crayon on plain or notebook paper, and their parents hang it on the fridge. They also have a vase or two around the house, but they don't buy those for the artistic value. They mostly just keep them around for when the kids come home with flowers (*cough* weeds) they picked.

131. What is [Melody Barlow]'s favorite animal?
Dogs, particularly big affectionate mutts.

Did I even update this yesterday? Yesterday was such a blur?? This whole week doesn't feel real??? Linear time is just a construct????

132. What does [Crocell (Ao no Exorcist)] feel least confident about?
Crocell isn't very confident in his powers. He knows he's not the strongest demon and that the others could easily take him anytime, which is a big part of the reason he chooses to stay out of everybody's way.

That, and he just... hates social interaction.

133. How healthy is [Henrike Kneib (Dogs: Bullets & Carnage)]?
Henrike doesn't suffer from any chronic illnesses and doesn't have any allergies that she's aware of. She gets enough exercise, although she could probably eat better and sleep more. She stays away from drugs, only drinks in moderation, and quit smoking when she moved in with Franco because he actually is in poor health. I suppose by most standards, she would be a decently healthy individual.

Let's pretend like I updated this yesterday and didn't spend two and a half hours trying to get my car to function in the snow.

134. What is [Garnet (MySims)]'s favorite beverage?
She likes apple juice the best!

135. [Razeil (Katekyo Hitman Reborn!)] is alone in the middle of nowhere. A snake bites him, and he's pretty sure it's a poisonous one. What does he do?
Well, first of all, kill it for bitin' him. It thinks it can just get away with that shit? Think again, buddy.

Then, he'd immobilize the infected limb with a splint. He knows better than to try to suck the venom out with his mouth, but I doubt he'd have any suction devices on him for the purpose of treating snake bites. He doesn't exactly encounter them all that often.

And then he knows he'd have to find a way to get his hands on some antivenom as it's the only real way to treat a snake bite. Walking around isn't really great when you've been bitten by a poisonous snake, but what choice does he have other than trying to make it to the nearest populated area? If he doesn't have a proper suction device, I doubt he'd have random antivenom on him.

Although... this is the KHR! world where everything is super convenient and not realistic in the slightest. So... it might be possible to heal the snake bite in some... bullshit fashion, idk.

136. Describe [Lola Corsola (Pokémon gijinka)]'s dream home.
Lola would like to live in a cute little sea cottage with the exterior painted pink and the interior decorated with beachy things like shells n stuff. She'd want it to be just big enough to house a guest or two when she wants to. She doesn't need it to be super big because it's not like she's going to spend a ton of time in it herself anyway. She prefers to be out on the beach, after all.

137. How opinionated is [Mercy Misdreavus (Pokémon gijinka)]? Does she like to share those opinions with others or keep them to herself?
She is rather resolute in her opinions, but she likes to keep them to herself because she strives to create an air of mystery about herself. If someone says something she doesn't agree with, she's more likely to booby trap their house than to argue with them. Leave them guessing why she did it, too.

138. A stranger knocks on [Beelphegor (Ao no Exorcist)]'s door in the middle of the night and asks for help. Does he open the door and let the stranger in?
They interrupted his sleep?? And he's not a helpful guy in the first place. So, um, no.

What if the stranger is a tattooed, wiry man with blood on his face?

Nah.

What if the stranger is a weary-looking old lady?

Nope.

What if the stranger is a twelve-year-old child who keeps looking around as though someone is following him?

Definitely not.

139. Does [Thom] typically dream in color or in black and white?
Typically in color but in very, very desaturated color, so you know... it might as well be black and white.

140. How would (or did) [Agapito (Katekyo Hitman Reborn!)] handle the deaths of his parents or siblings?
I hate this question because it forced me to dig through my old art and journals to see if I killed his parents or not. I'm just going to go ahead and assume that I did because all of my KHR! OCs have dead parents. Maybe with the exception of Maggie.

That, and I wrote in Agapito's bio thingy that he hates the bloodshed the Mafia causes, so I would assume that means the Mafia probably killed his parents. //shrugs

He is one of my more mature characters, though, even at the time his parents would have been killed. He wasn't a child when it happened or anything. So, I would assume he certainly handled it better than he could have, but that doesn't mean he was unaffected by it, of course.

He continues to mourn them to this day and often buries himself in literature as a distraction.

aayyyy merry Christmas and happy 2017

I can't even remember when the last time I updated this one, so I'm not even gonna bother doing the two-a-day thing. I'm just gonna try to go back to once-a-day updates. The first of the year seems like a good time to start that back up again.

141. What does [Akane (Togainu no Chi)] do for recreation?
Like the other regulators, when she can't find troublemakers to punish, she makes up her own "rules" and finds someone to kill for completely arbitrary reasons.

But she doesn't just run around killing everyone. She has made unlikely friends with some of the contestants, and she likes to track them down and see how they're holding up, how many tags they have now. She also helps hide them from the other regulators sometimes because if she lets Gunji and Kiriwar kill them, who is she gonna hate out with during her free time?? She'll be bored to tears, then.

She also goes exploring around the city from time to time, but after she's been there a while, she's pretty much seen everything there is to see. So, she prefers to be where the people are 'cause they're more entertaining and unpredictable than... buildings and rubble. :/

142. What does a typical grocery list look like for [Jamie (Katekyo Hitman Reborn!)]?
As if he goes grocery shopping for himself!! His father has underlings to do that sort of thing, and usually, his father determines what goes on the grocery list because why should they eat something that he dislikes?

Jamie would put a word in to the underlings about picking him up some stuff to bake with, but his father likes sweets enough that that stuff usually gets added to the list anyway.

143. What is the worst tragedy [Crofton Crobat (Pokémon gijinka)] has ever personally witnessed?
Crofton hasn't had the most eventful life. He's a bit of an edgelord but not because he's actually suffering in any kind of way - he just likes to act like a jerk. The worst tragedy he's ever witnessed himself is probably older members of his extended family dying, but he wasn't particularly close with any of them...

144. Is [Yann Pierre] a morning person, a night owl, or something else entirely?
Yann tends to be a night owl because his wife is typically a morning person, and he likes to sneak around the house while she sleeps. It's the only time he can get any peace! Although is it really peaceful when he's constantly stressing about what will happen to him if he accidentally wakes her up?

145. How does [Maeda Tsuka (Haikyuu!!)] respond when he is unjustly accused of something?
EXTREMELY INDIGNANT AND READY TO FIGHT. He hates when people spread rumors and try to ruin his reputation. Like, why? Why?? Don't you have anything better to do with your time? Go pet a dog, take a bubble bath, do literally anything else.

Fortunately, the people on Tsuka's team know him well enough to know what he would and would not do, and he's an honest person who doesn't really hide much from them. So they're pretty good at picking out which accusations are false.

146. Would [Zane Zangoose (Pokémon gijinka)] ever cheat on a romantic partner?
No, Zane is very loyal and honest, so I don't think he could ever bring himself to cheat on his partner. He doesn't like people who keep secrets, Hakkara.

Describe the circumstances under which he might cheat on his partner?

See above. If he was interested in someone else and really wanted to pursue them over his current partner, he would be upfront about it and just break up with them first.

Describe the kind of person who could convince him to cheat on his partner?

I dunno, maybe a hypnotist? Put him in a hypnotic trance, and then maybe he'll kiss you, haha!

147. In what ways does [Akiyama Ken (Haikyuu!!)] annoy others?
He is a huge memer, especially around Itsuki, and some of their teammates get really miffed when they joke around during practice instead of actually working like they're supposed to.

He also annoys Minami in a number of other ways, but Minami is just... irritable in general, so he is an outlier and should not be counted.

148. What is [Cleo]'s favorite color to wear? Is it the same as or different than her favorite color?
Cleo likes to wear a lot of teal and gold! Gold is one of her favorite colors, although teal is a little lower on the list. She just thinks it complements the gold well.

149. Is [Lee Sneasel (Pokémon gijinka)] adventurous when it comes to food? Does he like to try out new cuisines?
No, Lee isn't really adventurous. He likes what he likes. His mom tries to get him to eat different foods - you know, like how moms do - but he just... really doesn't want to most of the time. He orders the same things from restaurants all the time, and when his mom cooks something new for him, he picks at it, pushes it around his plate, doesn't really eat it, which she finds very frustrating, pfft.

150. If [Minami Suzuna (Haikyuu!!) had a theme song, what would it be? (You can either pick a real song or make one up.)
"Sharada" - Skye Sweetnam

And when they told her she's delirious
She didn't care, she's just oblivious
She likes to make everyone curious
One day she's gonna be famous

151. Has [Wren Weavile (Pokémon gijinka)] ever hurt someone and secretly felt good about it?
I'm sure that if she found someone who she felt deserved the hurt, she would have no regrets. She might not even be very secretive about feeling good at all. (;

152. Does [Marc] gamble? Is he good at it?
Nah, he's a poor college student, so he couldn't afford to do that, even if he wanted to! Plus, I don't think he would be really into the environment of casinos and stuff... or card games which require way too many people - i.e. more than one - to play.

153. Who is [Takashi]'s confidant?
Well, I was going to say Aina, but in reality, there's certain things that he doesn't even want to tell her. I don't think Takashi has anyone that he trusts with 100% of his information. He's not a bad guy, but there are just some things that he would rather not have people know.

154. What does the color orange make [Yaphai Taoryl (Homestuck)] think of? How does it make her feel?
I don't wanna be That Person, but she'd probably associate it most with Senkad, their session's Page of Light since the Light god tier outfits are orange. She doesn't... really encounter any vibrant oranges in her day-to-day life aside from her own and other troll's horns but yeah, like?? I dunno, man. The Light outfit is the only thing I can think of really.

I was going back through my journals to find a character interview meme thing, and I had to go all the way back to 2011, and now I want Death™

I was such an embarrassing piece of shit back then goddamn... They're all so cringe-worthy and... awful...

Maybe I'll delete them someday....

I should just. go ahead and delete a lot of my old stuff on here honestly.

I hate my dA and kinda wanna do a total overhaul of it. Go through everything, delete a lot of old art, old journals, clean out my favorites... This place is a mess.

When will I find the motivation, though...?

is what this journal is going to be really fast. If I keep up with it, which I doubt I will because have I ever been known to keep up with anything? No. Exactly.

Writing anything about anything has been entirely impossible lately, which makes me kind of scared because I switched from a Computer Science major to a Writing major, thinking I would like that better, and now I can't write anything sO HAHAHAHAHA shootmeintheface;;
So, here's something different to get at least some sort of creative juice flowing since the part of my brain that makes creative juices has basically shriveled into nothing.

I found a list of 365 character development questions. Instead of doing them in order (because that would be incredibly lameeee), I'm going to generate a random one every day for as long as I can keep this going. I'm also going to generate a random character to go with it. Characters will likely be used multiple times, some might get used more than others, and some might not make it at all. Whatevs. But questions shouldn't repeat.

(If they're fandom OCs, I'll include their fandoms in parenthesis.)

I haven't even read all of the questions, so who knows what's in store? Not me, that's for dang sure.

I'm hoping to keep this going for at least a week or two but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Can't be settin' my goals too high.

1. Who's the craziest person [Jessica] has ever known, and what was their relationship like?
Taking "craziest" to mean "wildest" in this case, the answer is probably her boyfriend (currently unnamed). She lived a fairly normal, boring life in the suburbs with her slightly too sheltering parents, a picket fence, and one dog. She didn't have much of a chance to meet many reckless, off-the-wall types, until she ended up in a public high school, which... was barely any better. High school is still painfully boring most of the time. There was one boy and his collection of friends, however, who were drawn to more dangerous behaviors, and that caused Jessica to gravitate toward them, perceiving them to be just as bored as she was. They introduced her to parties, drinking, and drugs on the weekends. Fake IDs and clubs. Drag races and vandalism. She was grateful not to be bored anymore and didn't waste time feeling sorry for the kids who were stupid enough to get caught and arrested.

As for her relationship with her boyfriend, the terms "boyfriend" and "girlfriend" are more like formalities to them. They call themselves that because that's what people assume when they see the two making out in the corner of the cafeteria or on the bus. Truthfully, they couldn't even be considered friends. There is a lot they don't tell each other, and the trust required to make them friends just isn't there. They're more like... acquaintances with benefits. Sex is a great time killer, and they'd sure as hell rather be all over each other than studying for exams or anything productive like that. Their relationship isn't good to say the least, and it's essentially "I don't really care for you, but anything's better than being bored at home."

But as she gets used to her new lifestyle, she finds herself just as bored as she was before it began. Figures. Some people are never satisfied.

2. What does [The Caregiver] wish he could do that he can't? How badly does he want it and what would he do to get it?
ayyy day 2. Looking good so far. Also, I should probably give The Caregiver a proper name eventually. His "proper name" has just been "The Caregiver" for a couple years at least haha whoops

Originally, he wanted to have his old, more peaceful life back, but that's not how it is any longer. He's reached the conclusion that ever since he got involved with demons, he'll never have that life again, and he is strangely okay with that. Now, I suppose, his main goal is to rid the world of demon hunters, or at least find a way to get them to stop... hunting. Without the hunters around, his life would be able to go back to at least semi-normalcy. It sure would cut down on the running around, anyway. It'd be nice to sit in one place for a little bit.

The Caregiver is a human who devoted his life to taking care of demons after happening upon the injured Halaxsapiel and forming a contract with her. The hunters being gone would make it easier to ensure that Halaxsapiel and other demons were safe. However, exterminating all of them is impossible for one person, even if his demon were to lend him her strength, as there are thousands upon thousands of them and they are all trained professionals.

That, and he is something of a pacifist who has qualms with people dying. This is part of the reason he sided with the demons in the first place: he thought the extermination of them was senseless. But he doesn't want to kill hunters either if he doesn't have to.

However, for the sake of hopefully putting a stop to this war against humans and demons, he formed a contract with one of the demons (he was to keep her out of harm's way in exchange for her wisdom and some of her power) and began training himself to fight, something he hoped he wouldn't have to do, but desperate times and all of that.

Sheesh. This answer is kind of all over the place and confusing? Idk. I got a really hard question for a character I haven't thought much about in quite some time. (The fact that his name is still just "The Caregiver" should be proof enough that I haven't worked with him in 286 years.) Obviously, nothing about this is final, and I'm still working on it. I'm not real happy with the way this is, but... I got day 2 done, at least. It's not very good, but I got it done.

3. ["Sylvia" Halaxsapiel] wakes up to find that war has been declared. What does she do?
Well, that was an extremely convenient set of random numbers, getting Halaxsapiel the day right after I did a question about The Caretaker. Dang. I'll call her Sylvia for this question (and probably for the rest of them that she gets mentioned in) as Sylvia is the human name she uses to blend in and Halaxsapiel is such a pain to say and write.

Funny thing is, this is... very close to what actually happened. As more humans began to fight back against the demons who crossed over into their world, the two sides eventually declared an all-out war on each other. As one of the more competent demons, Sylvia wasn't given much of a choice and was forced to go over to the humans' side to fight in the war. Once on Earth, she preferred to stay in the shadows and use sneak attacks to take humans out. She's not the best at close-range combat.

She got dragged into a close-range battle, however, and ended up wounded. She formed a contract with a human, The Caregiver, to avoid getting into an even messier situation in her weakened state.

Basically, she thinks wars are a huge pain, and she does her best to minimize her involvement in them, only acting when she absolutely has to. It's a lot easier that way.

Ha, this next one is a total joke and also has multiple parts, so here we go.

4. [Jia (Katekyo Hitman Reborn!)] has an award someone gave her sitting on a shelf. What is it for, and what are the circumstances under which she received it?
Jia owns the Biggest Mary Sue In The History Of The Universe award, given to her by me and a number of my friends. (; Realistically, in her circumstances, she wouldn't earn any actual awards. She's part of the Varia, despite not being worthy of it at all--like, honestly, how did she even get in?--and she's a hopeless silly drunk to boot, but everyone loves her anyway. In her universe, she wouldn't be considered truly worthy of any awards, although... I suppose she would still get awards, since that is kind of a very Mary Sue thing: to get awards you don't deserve. But... I'm revoking all awards she somehow effortlessly earned, and I'm replacing them all with the Biggest Mary Sue In The History Of The Universe award.
Is she proud of it or embarrassed by it?

Oh, she is definitely very embarrassed by it. (; As am I, but that's beside the point. No one wants to be considered a Mary Sue. She's incredibly angry that she managed to win this award, but... such is the life of a Mary Sue, winning everything, whether you want it or not. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Does she feel that she deserved it?

Nope! Quite the opposite! She believes that there must have been some mistake. Surely, she's not the Biggest Mary Sue In The History Of The Universe! There's been a mix-up! But... there has not been a mix-up at all. The award is hers, and she's going to have to get over it. (:

Jia is hilarious. This question was so much fun.

5. Is [Theodor Hummel] an introvert or an extrovert?
Ah, an easy one. Theodor is definitely an extrovert. He doesn't like to sit still, and he would rather be out doing things with his friends, especially his bestie Fiorenza. Theodor gets his stimulation from being busy and under a considerable amount of stress all the time. He's absolutely miserable when there's nothing to do, ya know. Fiorenza is the same way, which is why they get along so well. They keep each other on their toes, always running from one thing to the other.

6. When [Suzuki Hiroto (Haikyuu!!)] was a child, what did he want to be when he grew up?
Ha, when Suzuki was real little, he thought he could be one of Santa's elves, and it seemed like the ideal situation: surrounded by toys, cookies for every meal, cool elf clothes. He also loves to sing Christmas carols, and he's one of those people who starts singing them in June and doesn't stop until February. He thought he was guaranteed a position as an elf.

Of course, those dreams ended up being squashed pretty quickly after he found out elves weren't actually real, and then he went through a whole list of things he wanted to be: a policeman, a fireman, a vet, a lawyer, a model, a scientist, a professional volleyball player... He still doesn't have a good idea of what he wants to do. He's hoping he'll settle on something before graduation, but he's also got a little time left to figure it out, so he's not majorly concerned. Right now, he's kind of going with the flow until he can find something he likes.

7. What is [Văn]'s least favorite holiday?
I almost forgot to do this, but I remembered. And with that, I've been keeping up with this thing for a full week now, which is honestly longer than I expected to. Hopefully, I can keep it up for another week longer. I apologize if you're all sick of seeing this in your inbox, but also... I don't. I'm not sorry, whoops.

A N Y W A Y

In stark contrast to yesterday's character, I'm going to say Christmas. But... coming up with a favorite holiday is hard because he's just not a very festive person in general. He doesn't have the time to decorate for the holidays, nor does he really have anyone he likes to spend them with. Văn is a quiet guy who likes to keep to himself most of the time.

That, and he sees holidays--all holidays--as a useless waste of time and money. It's become a contest; whoever spends the most money wins some big, fabulous prize or whatever, and Christmas is the biggest contest of all of them. People try so damn hard on Christmas, and he doesn't really get the idea behind it. He's also kind of an elitist dick who believes himself to be somehow better for not giving into the "lies" of Christmas or some shit like that idk man

Well, yesterday, I wasn't able to do a question because Halloween got kind of ridiculous really fast. I ended up getting sick on candy, so by the time I got back to my dorm, I wasn't in any state to be developing characters. So, I'll just have to do 2 questions today.

8. How does [BreAnne Umbreon (Pokémon gijinka)] feel about water? Does she like to swim? Go boating? Is she afraid of the water?
BreAnne doesn't have a problem with water. She's not super crazy about it. She has more of a neutral relationship with it, but she is grateful that it's around for drinking and bathing. She does like to hit up the pool in the summer. Nothing like a good swim when it gets really hot out! But she doesn't really go on boats much. She prefers to stay close to land instead of way out in the open water, so she sticks to swimming in pools or close to the shore of beaches and stuff. Her off-and-on-again boyfriend, Glanville, is a complete scaredy cat around water, though. She thinks it's kind of ridiculous. Water can't do a lot to hurt you, especially in the shallow end of the pool where your feet can still touch the bottom, haha!

9. List several phrases [Yamamoto Yuuto (Katekyo Hitman Reborn!)] is fond of uttering. Where did he pick them up?
These random number generators are mean, giving me my KHR! OCs when I haven't touched any of them in years.

Yuuto's an optimist, so a lot of the things he says are said to encourage others. "Don't give up!" "Keep going!" "You can do it!" "I believe in you!" "It'll get better eventually!" Those are all things he says a lot. He's sort of bad at giving any actual advice since he hasn't had much life experience and grew up kind of sheltered a lot of the time, so he tries his best to encourage people and feels bad that he can't help them much more than that. He picked up a lot of his optimistic attitude from his brother, Yamamoto Takeshi, who always tried to see the best in every situation and person that he encountered. Yuuto looks up to Takeshi a lot, and they were practically inseparable when they were kids, so it makes sense that Yuuto would grow up with an optimistic attitude as well. Positivity rubs off onto other people... or something like that.

10. Does [Bat With Glasses And A Necktie] tend to focus his efforts on one project at a time, or does he spread his efforts out across a variety of projects?
Yes, his name is currently Bat With Glasses And A Necktie because I haven't gotten around to naming him yet. He's my newest character, and you'll never guess what he is. ; )

Bat With Glasses And A Necktie is a terrible multitasker. It's kind of hard to be extremely productive when your hands are so small and your arms are attached to wings. Also, when you can't see that well. So, he prefers to try to do one thing at a time. It's easier that way. However, it does make his stressful office job a lot harder than it probably should be. Who lets a bat in the office anyway?

11. How strong is [Kisah Wangi]'s sense of responsibility, and what kind of things trigger it?
Kisah is 19 years old and desperately trying to cling to childhood. They don't think of themself as an adult at all, and they would rather goof off than think about anything adult-like or "not fun." They're a circus performer (a trapeze artist, to be exact), so they "lose" college and job applications in the clutter of their room so they won't have to think about leaving the circus. Out of sight out of mind. So, I would say that their sense of responsibility is rather weak for someone of their age. They are responsible enough to show up for performances, but that's only because they like performing. If it's not something they like to do, they're likely not going to do it. They are the oldest person in their friend group, however, the second oldest being 17-year-old Arabella, so they have adopted something of an "older sibling" role among the others, but it's more of a... "lazy but likable older sibling" kind of role instead of the responsible kind.

It takes quite a bit to trigger Kisah's sense of responsibility. Running a circus is hard work, and it eventually goes under. Most of the kids who performed in the circus, including Kisah, have known nothing but the circus for their entire lives. The children, desperate to resurrect the only thing they've ever known, begin thinking of ways to revive the circus--or put on one more show, at the very least. To do that, they will need a lot of money, and the hope of reviving the circus is the one and only thing that could ever prompt Kisah to look into getting a normal job. They also start saving their money more than they used to. They were horribly irresponsible with their money before, spending it on video games and strange knickknacks, and they often had to borrow money from their friends or parents, but the circus going under encourages them to be more frugal.

12. Does [Minami Keiichi (Haikyuu!!)] enjoy camping outdoors?
I can see Minami enjoying camping, yeah. He's a doer and likes to work hard, and there's a lot of effort that goes into camping trips, from the preparations to the actual camping activities themselves, so it would actually be a pretty good vacation for him. (Lord knows he needs one, but he's terrible at sitting still.) He also likes fresh air and the simpler things in life. His family can't really afford fancy stuff, so being surrounded by nice things actually kind of freaks him out a little bit. He's always afraid he's going to accidentally break something and then have to pay for it. And because he doesn't have much money, a short camping trip is probably all he'd be able to afford.

I think a camping trip's the only vacation you could convince him to go on tbh.

13. There's someone who hates [Naomu (Togainu no Chi)], but he doesn't realize it. Who is this person and why do they hate him so much?
Ha, well, it's certainly not all that unusual or difficult to make enemies in Toshima, that's for sure. It's really hard to tell who genuinely likes you, so I suppose it would also be kind of hard to know exactly who has it out for you and why. Most people, Naomu included, just assume everyone has it out for them. People in Toshima can hate you simply for existing. As long as you're playing the game, you're competition and a potential victim, and that much alone is enough to get them to hate you. Naomu likely has multiple enemies in Toshima, many of which he doesn't know about.

It also doesn't help that he's very much the kind of guy who keeps to himself all the time, so he doesn't even have one real friend he can rely on.
How would he find out?

WELL SHIT I DON'T KNOW HE'D PROBABLY JUST GET ATTACKED. That's how most grudges are handled in Toshima; there is no talking, only bloodshed. So, he'd figure out which people hated him when they dragged him into a fight. That's the whole point of why they're there in the first place: to fight every other person in the city. If Toshima even counts as a city.
What would he do about it?

Fight back as best as he can, of course. That's about as much as he can do. He's got the social skills of a patch of moss, and people in Toshima can't be reasoned with, so it's not like he can talk them down from their murderous rage and try to make all nicey-nice. It's kill or be killed, and he's actually a pretty excellent fighter. (He and Akane are my only two OCs who live to see the end of the series, and he kind of has to be good at fighting to make it that far.) So, when he finds himself in sticky situations, he claws his way out of 'em.

I haven't played Togainu no Chi in forever. I miss it a lot.

Eek! I missed another day because yesterday was my mom's birthday, so I'll just have to do 2 again today!
omg I just realized, this makes 2 weeks that I've been keeping up with this or... trying to keep up with it. I've missed a couple days, but I've made 'em up, so it's not a big deal. Anyway, I'm so proud of myself. I didn't think this would actually go anywhere or that I'd actually remember to keep at it tbh.

14. [DragonFire] just received an envelope. Whatever it is, the idea of opening it fills him with dread. What is it? And what happens when he opens it?
In DragonFire's story, he skips town with his cousin and a "friend" of theirs--this friend is more of an acquaintance who just sort of tolerates the other two--so imagine his surprise when he receives an envelope with his aunt's handwriting on it. First of all, how did she know where they were? They've been moving around quite a bit for the past little while, and they didn't tell anyone where they were going, nor did they bring their cellphones with them--the cousins because they didn't want to be found; and Moonmist (their friend) because his dad pays his cellphone bill, and who would continue to pay the bill of a child who left? The contract would have expired and the phone would have been rendered useless eventually, so he just decided not to bother with it.

I went off on a bit of a tangent there, so on with the letter.

When DragonFire opens this letter, he discovers that it's his aunt writing him to come home, which he sort of expected. He doesn't want to end his journey yet, so he ignores the letter. Moonmist burns it in the fireplace in the hotel lobby, which isn't exactly inconspicuous, but all three of the kids give really cryptic answers when asked about it and are gone before any other "suspicious activity" sets anyone off.

(I have a lot of stories where people run away or just go traveling for extended periods of time because I love journey stories. I have so many of these characters. //sobs)

15. Does [Jewel (Elfen Lied)] have any psychological hang-ups where money is concerned?
Jewel... has never had to deal with money much and hardly has any understanding of how it works, so I suppose not. I'm guessing that "hang-ups" imply an unwillingness to spend it? Probably not, then, no. If Jewel was given some money and send on a shopping trip, she wouldn't hesitate to spend it on the first thing she saw that she wanted. Her understanding of money goes about as far as, "I want a thing, but to get the thing I need money, but now I have money, so now I can get the thing." So, she would. She would get the thing. In fact, she probably wouldn't stop getting things until she ran out of money. Don't give Jewel your money and then let her out of your sight unless you never ever want to see that money again.

16. What did [Zoe] receive for her last birthday?
Blackness got her yet another snowman plush. Zoe loves snowmen and has a collection of them, but this collection wasn't something that she consciously decided to start herself. She just expressed her love of snowmen, and then her friends kind of showered her with them. She hasn't gotten rid of any of them because they're all very thoughtful gestures from her friends, so she's ended up with... a lot of them over the years.

Cleo took her out shopping to all her favorite stores and let her pick out a few new outfits.

Jamar gave her a Paws Up! T-shirt, one of the ones she already has. He and Zoe can't be considered friends, and he hardly knows anything about her. She's a huge fan of their band, Paws Up!, though, and also a good friend of Cleo's, so she's ended up in charge of the band's social media accounts. Jamar figures she'd appreciate it if he provided her with free band merch for sticking around. He fails to take into account the fact that she's such a huge fan that she already has every single piece of merch available as soon as it comes out. I honestly don't know how he forgets that. I mean, she only raves about every new piece of merch for at least a week straight.

Thom slept through her birthday and didn't get her anything. Fuckin' Thom...

17. Is [Marlo] married? Does she have a lover, significant other, girlfriend, boyfriend?
Marlo's not married, but she does live with her creator and "master," a man named Turin. They are certainly supposed to be lovers. In fact, that was the whole purpose of Marlo's creation; Turin was lonely and decided to make himself a "perfect woman." (Are they ever really perfect, though?) She's essentially a living porcelain doll whose purpose is to keep him company and do whatever he asks of her.

But things get a little complicated when Marlo finds herself intrigued by the violinist who plays on the street corner for tips. She can hear and see him clearly through her window and spends a great deal of her time watching him until Turin finds out and boards up her window because he's jealous that her attention is no longer focused on him. She then tries to think of ways to sneak out of the house to see the violinist, but it can be a bit hard to sneak past Turin since his house is not very big and the stairs are so creaky.

So, technically, she has two potential love interests, Turin, who can be a bit of a controlling creep, and James, the violinist who doesn't even know she exists.

18. How does [Dano] feel about doctors?
They're super rich, right? (; That's... mainly what she likes about them. Dano doesn't really need doctors herself, seeing as she's immortal, so she doesn't have much of an opinion on them, unless they're willing to give her their money. She may be otherworldly, but she's certainly very attached to this world and the possessions she has here, so if there's something to gain from them, she'll be super excited about doctors, but other than that...

19. Is there anyone [Cleo Catra] would die to protect?
A fitting question for Veteran's Day, a day where we honor all of those who died to protect us and our country. Even though I have quite a few problems with the way our government handles military situations and spending, I realize that that is entirely not the soldiers' faults at all and that most of them have good intentions and genuinely want to help others. My grandpa and stepbrother served in the Marines. My sister is going into the Navy in a few years; technically, she's already military certified, just not deployable yet. I'm certain that all of them are good people. And I'm certain that most of the veterans I haven't gotten the chance to know personally are also good people, and I'm glad that they go and fight in wars so that I don't have to because Lord knows I could never. Thank you so much, guys, for keeping our country as safe as you can.

Unfortunately, I don't have much else to say on the subject as it gives me a lot of conflicting emotions--these days, I've learned to keep my mouth shut about war and the military because talking about it only makes everything worse--but I do hope that everyone is having a good Veteran's Day, whatever that means for you, and I hope you take some time out of your day to thank those who have served your country. Even if you're like me and don't like war and all that goes with it, please realize that it's not the soldiers' faults, and they're just trying to do their very best, as well as they know how, just like the rest of us are.

All that being said, I suppose it's time to answer the question now.

Cleo would die to protect the members of Paws Up! and Zoe. They're all really tightly knit, like a big family, and even if there's conflict between them, they find ways to work it out, and then they go back to being friends again! (All of them have slight tempers, besides Zoe probably, so they all get into disputes pretty regularly. It's just something that they've learned to get used to. "Well, this is just something that's going to happen because of who we are, and we can't let it tear us apart.")

Cleo can seem selfish sometimes, but she's intensely loyal to all of her friends, and she's not about to let anyone get away with hurting them.

Except maybe she wouldn't protect Thom, idk. Fuck Thom.

20. What person has most influenced [Demdia Neglar (Homestuck)]'s development as an adult?
Ha, the sad thing about Homestuck OCs, especially troll OCs, is that a lot of them don't get to live into adulthood, and Demdia's timelines are perpetually doomed--all of them. Out of all of my fantrolls, Demdia is the closest to being an adult with a little bit of her blood color showing up in her eyes, but she'll never get all the way there because she's a mutant, and once she hits adulthood, that's going to be a lot harder to hide. So, it's probably for the best that she never quite makes it. She's doomed to die no matter what.

The people who have helped her this far, though, have been Prinse and Quaire. Because of her mutant status, Demdia has spent basically her entire life isolated on an island in the middle of the sea. She only interacts with the outside world via chat rooms, which is where she met Prinse, Quaire, and a few of my other fantrolls, but Prinse and Quaire are the one's she's gotten closest to. They're the two highest blood classes out of all my fantrolls, indigo and purple, and they became very interested in Demdia when they learned she was a seadweller. Of course, her would-be high status is demolished by her mutant blood, sending her from the top to the very bottom of the spectrum. But they don't really know she's a mutant yet because she hasn't told them. They just know her as their mysterious seadweller friend. Still, even if she hasn't shared the whole truth with them yet, it's nice to have people to talk to as equals, people who don't know and therefore can't judge her for her blood color. Not to mention that their conversations have made Demdia at least slightly better at handling social situations, opposed to what it would've been like if she had just grown up on the island by herself with no outside contact from anyone.

21. Someone asks [Porue] to describe his family. How does he answer?
"Where I'm from, we're all sorta family in a weird, twisted way, but if you mean... immediate family, the closest thing I got to that is my sister, Lorco. She's a real control freak, real annoying, always gotta have plans for everything, and if something messes those plans up... oh, man. She doesn't know how to deal with that kind of thing at all, which is unfortunate for her because something's always coming in and wrecking her plans. Not that her plans are ever real solid to begin with. She'd get so much farther if she just did shit. Making plans takes so much time. All she does is slow me down, and everyone expects us to work with each other. Honestly, we work better against each other, since we're both crazy competitive, and she lets go of some of her stupid plans when I start kicking her ass. Don't tell anyone, but... we haven't been working together, and no one can make us."

22. Does [Sunday Smoochum (Pokémon gijinka)] enjoy surprises?
Oh, yeah, she totally loves them! I mean... as long as they're good. She likes it when people throw her surprise parties or sneak up behind her to give her a hug. She... doesn't really like it when people jump out at her and scare her or pull a prank on her or something. She's pretty sensitive, and surprises like that just make her cry, haha!

She also likes setting up nice surprises for other people, randomly getting them gifts for no reason or surprising them with affection like hugs and kisses. She has gotten in some trouble with people who don't really like to be touched, though... Goddammit, Sunday, learn some boundaries.

23. What is [Beade (Baten Kaitos)]'s favorite season?
Probably spring! Beade loves colors and festivals, and there are certainly a lot of those in the springtime. The weather is also typically pleasant, except for the rain... Rain is better than snow, though! Snow is such a pain.

24. What does the color blue make [Velveteen] think of? How does it make her feel?
Blue skies and blue seas that stretch on forever. Ice, freezing cold temperatures. Isolation. Quiet. Peace. Not a human in sight, the way it should be. Just her by herself with arctic winds whipping through her hair and coat.

She's a demon who fears humans, specifically the sound of their voices, and chooses to live way up in Alaska to get away from them. The color blue (often coupled with white for the snow) reminds her of her cozy, safe, isolated home away from humans and the conflict that comes from all of their shenanigans.

25. Does [Beade (Baten Kaitos)] have a green thumb? If she doesn't, does she try to grow things anyway? How do they come out? What does she grow?
I just... answered a question about Beade, but okay.

I... wouldn't say she has a green thumb, but then I wouldn't really say that she has a brown thumb, either. She just doesn't garden much; there's never been any need for her to do so, since before, she just got all of the fruits and vegetables she needed placed right on her table, and now she's more of a gatherer, either picking plants out of the wild or just buying whatever she needs from the market. She tends to pick fruits out of the wild, though, at her friend Didili's request. Didili's grown and picked fruits for most of her life and has always been very cautious about spending money, so she tries to get Beade to survive on just what they can find.

So... yeah, Beade doesn't really try to grow anything. She and Didili move around too much for her to have a garden. Didili's constantly in a hurry, and Beade's constantly trying to get her to slow down, but Didili Cannot.

If Beade did have a garden, she'd probably grow... melons. She really enjoys eating melons of all kinds. I don't know how growing melons would work out for her, though... I'd say she's got about a 50/50 chance of succeeding at it. Or maybe she'll just stick with flowers or something. I'm not sure, honestly.

26. What item does [Rae-Dawn Koller] wish she possessed that she doesn't? How badly does she want it and what would she do to get it?
WOW. SHIT. IT'S BEEN A REALLY LONG TIME. How ya doin', Rae-Dawn? I was not expecting this at all. Okay.

Rae-Dawn, daughter of the CEO of Koller Incorporated, has had just about everything dropped into her lap since the time she was very little, but one thing she's never been allowed to have is a pet. Her father doesn't believe that she's capable of properly taking care of one, and he's probably right. She's bed-ridden a lot of the time and can barely take care of herself. Still, her friends from school, before she switched to being homeschooled, had pets, and she always thought they were very cute and wanted one for herself. She wants a dog or a horse more than any other kind of pet.

She's done just about everything short of stealing to try and get one: begged, cried, bribed, whined, guilt-tripped... and nothing has worked.

Think back to when [Rae-Dawn] was five years old, eight years old, twelve years old. Write a holiday gift wish-list from her point of view.

5 years old:
- a yellow princess dress
- a pony
- 7 new dolls
- 800 new outfits for the dolls
- an orange princess dress

8 years old:
- a pony
- a music box
- a stuffed unicorn
- a new dress + matching hat

12 years old:
- a pony [are you sensing a pattern here?]
- a puppy
- new paint on bedroom walls
- new bedspread (warm colors + flowers maybe)
- The Empire's Underground by Claes Lucas Kleid [a fantasy novel]

How does [Rae-Dawn] feel about physical possessions in a general sense?

Well, she's probably not as appreciative of them as some people are considering that physical possessions are a huge part of her life and she basically has a brand new one every week or so. It's easy for her to lose/forget about stuff because she just has so much of it. First-world problems, I know. But at least she's not quite as bad as her father who seems to think everything is a possession, including his employees, easily replaceable and even more easily disposable.

Both of the Koller's are pretty shallow, but I'd like to believe that... Rae-Dawn is... more "innocently" shallow than her father. Mr. Koller's just a dick about everything; at least Rae-Dawn is generally nice, even if she can't fully understand what it's like to not have everything.

27. What does [Naomu (Togainu no Chi)] believe to be his purpose in life?
Ultimately, his purpose was to be a soldier in WWIII, but the war ended before his purpose could be fulfilled. Part of him still believes he was meant to be a soldier, while another part of him feels lost and devoid of purpose entirely. Now, I suppose his purpose in life is to... find another purpose in life. With the war over, they don't really need soldiers like him anymore. He joined street fighting competitions and made his way to Toshima to fight in Igura because... well... that's what a lot of the other kids started doing post-war, y'know? His goal isn't really to win Igura; he doesn't really know why he's there, to be honest. Just... to have literally anything to do, I guess, and competitions are really good at creating a false sense of purpose. In this case, one's purpose becomes to remain alive for one more day, and that's better than nothing.

28. What does the color purple make [Turin] think of? How does it make him feel?
It makes him think of comfort and luxury because his favorite suit is purple. He also has quite a bit of purple furniture and rugs around his house, so the color is very familiar to him and makes him feel safe and at home.

29. What was [Tanner Slowpoke (Pokémon gijinka)]'s last pleasant dream?
He was on a planet just big enough for him to sit on and slowly drifting through space, passing by other planets and occasionally reaching out to touch a star. There was soft piano music playing from somewhere far away, and no matter how far he traveled through the universe, he never got any closer to it, but he never got farther from it either. It was just a constant throughout the dream. Everything was nice and slow, the way he likes it, and all the colors in the universe were blended together in such pretty ways. He was woken up by his fishing pole being ripped out of his hands and disappearing downstream.

30. How does [Ronxol Saklen (Homestuck)] feel about large bodies of water?
Not too great?? I mean, she can't really swim, so... if she ended up in a large body of water, she'd be pretty screwed. She tends to avoid going into them if possible. She also has a fear of pirates, so um... yeah.... No large bodies of water for her, ha! She's very much a landdweller and can live her whole life without going near anything larger than a small creek, so why wouldn't she?? steer clear of danger? I mean... that seems like a pretty obvious choice. Danger or no danger... hmmm idk

31. Does [Clementine Clefairy (Pokémon gijinka)] enjoy the natural world, or is she a city girl through-and-through?
This marks exactly one month that I've been doing this! I'm really proud of myself. I didn't expect to get this far at all, but it started getting to the point where "I might as well just keep going since I've already made it this far," you know?

Clementine enjoys a pretty decent mix of the natural world and the city life. The natural world has so many beautiful sights, and it's very peaceful, but the city offers a lot of convenience and more options in the event that she's bored. It's also easier to get to work from inside the city, so I don't think she'll be moving way out to the country anytime soon, but she certainly likes the atmosphere of the country and might move out there if it wasn't such an inconvenience and there was more to do.

32. Does [Thom] want power or authority of any kind?
Fuckin' Thom...

Definitely! He'd love to have the authority to snap his fingers and have people do things for him and the power to punish them if they refuse. He's actually pretty close to having this power, being as famous as he is, but his fellow band members keep him in check and don't let him abuse it. They're usually like, "All right, Thom, that's enough. Back to the trailer you go for a nap." And he... tries to put up a fight, but he does really love naps, so... resisting is difficult.

I rag on Thom a lot, but I really love him. My garbage son...

33. Does [Suzuki Hiroto (Haikyuu!!)] prefer to adopt the latest technological conveniences, or does he prefer to rely on tried-and-true methods?
Suzuki definitely likes his shiny gadgets, but he's also has that policy that says, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." So like... he'll get a new phone when his breaks or the contract expires, but he's not going to switch phones every single time one comes out. He'd be getting a new phone every month or less at that rate!! But yeah, he's certainly... pro-technological-convenience and is quite happy to be living in this era of abundant technology, and he probably wouldn't wanna go back to a "simpler" time because that would require so much more work... You'd actually have to... go to a library to learn what you wanted to know instead of pulling out your phone and Googling it. Terrifying.

34. If [Petey Wycoff] could change one physical detail about himself, what would it be?
Happy Thanksgiving. I'm thankful for Petey. He's precious, and I hope he finds $50 on the ground, and he's perfect the way he is, but this isn't about what I think of Petey. It's about what Petey thinks of Petey.

If Petey could change anything about himself, he'd probably choose to make himself bigger and more muscular. He sometimes gets insecure about how small and weak he is, especially because it means he has trouble keeping up with all of his rebellious friends.

Unlike some people in the story, he wouldn't choose to make himself more colorful. He's quite content with the monochrome thing. He'd rather not... put himself in any more danger than he's already in (thanks to his RECKLESS REBEL FRIENDS.......) Petey's life would be... 4538% easier if he didn't associate with the rebels, but he's stuck now. There's no escape.

The rest of this answer didn't load at first when I hit "preview", and I was starting to worry that I'd hit the journal word limit and I'd have to continue this in a new journal... Is there even a journal world limit? I guess I may or may not find out eventually, right? (;

35. Is [Glanville Glameow (Pokémon gijinka)] a dreamer, or are his feet firmly planted on the ground?
I have so many Pokémon gijinkas. I apologize.

Ha!! I wouldn't say he's either! He's not terribly ambitious and prefers to hang around the bar with his friend Quentin and try to pick up chicks. He doesn't really dream of doing anything and would rather live in the moment. However, he's not the most practical guy on the planet, and he's sort of lacking in common sense, which sometimes gets him in trouble, and then BreAnne has to come bail him out.

I suppose he does lean more toward the "dreamer" side of things because although he doesn't plan on doing anything huge with his life, he also doesn't really plan on doing anything realistic, either. He's the kind of guy who thinks that life can never go wrong for him, and so far, he's been right. He's just extremely lucky and has friends he can mooch off of to get by, and he's charming enough to schmooze his boss into letting him keep his job, even though he's a huge slacker. He never makes any practical backup plans because he expects life to always be a cakewalk, and when bad things do happen, he minimizes the issue and relies on his friends to get him out instead of taking responsibility for his actions. Truly, he is... an annoying egotistical prick.

36. What is the worst news [Sakurako] has ever received? How did she handle it?
Sakurako is 5 years old, so at this point in her life, the worst news she's ever had to hear is that she's too old to keep bringing her stuffed duck everywhere she goes. She didn't take it too well at first, and she cried about it a little bit, but she got over it. After all, she still has her duck at home. Just because her parents are tired of her bringing it to the store with them and accidentally dropping it in puddles doesn't mean she can never have the duck again.

She's fixing to get some more bad news soon enough because of shenanigans, but... I'm sure she'll be fine. >>

37. What is [Tobias]' least favorite color?
I can't even remember if I updated this yesterday or not. I think I did?? But yesterday is a complete blur, so... yeah... I'm not sure.

Also, I've had like 4 OCs named Tobias in my lifetime. It's ridiculous. There's so many of them. This is... tiny!Tobias... He smol and young.

Anyway, tiny!Tobias' least favorite color is probably... purple. I don't really have an in depth reason for this. Sometimes, people just don't like certain colors.

Today's question and answer were sort of lame, but I'm kind of grateful for that because I'm so... tired, ha... 'Tis the season, right? (; mmmm maybe tomorrow's will be better.

38. What was the last medical problem [Grimm Grimer (Pokémon gijinka)] had?
He got a particularly nasty respiratory infection, which actually isn't all that uncommon for him. He lives right next to the city dump, so close that he might as well live inside of it, and the mold and everything in the air is really bad on his lungs. That, and he's getting up there in age, so his body's losing its ability to fight that kind of stuff off. And on account of him being a Grimer, he always hacks up this real nasty sludge when he gets an infection. Poor ol' Grimer's probably not gonna last that much longer, especially with his unwillingness to move somewhere else. He's lived in the same place for 40+ years and has no intentions of leaving it, even if it has become a major health hazard in recent years.

39. Does [Moonmist Sunsmile Walker] have any children? What kind of relationship does he have with them?
No, good Lord, no. Moonmist is still a child himself. He's barely 18, and he's pretty sure he wouldn't want children even if he was a little older. The closest thing he has to a "child" is more of a very young friend, the 9-year-old little boy who comes by his house sometimes and visits him in the garage. When they first met, it was a hot summer day, and Moonmist gave the little boy one those cheap plastic battery-powered fans to cool off with, and they've been friends ever since, practically inseparable. That is, until Moonmist breaks the boy's heart by skipping town with two acquaintances. But no, no children for Moonmist.

I'd feel bad for any children he did have because it'd probably just... end up with one of those "my dad went out for milk and never came back" stories.

40. Who was [Quaire Porlan (Homestuck)]'s favorite teacher and why?
Alternian trolls don't really have a formal schooling system. They learn everything they need to know about life either from their lusus or from experiencing it for themselves. So, I guess that means... by default, her favorite teacher is her lusus, a giant swan, Swan Mom. Quaire isn't really big on listening to Swan Mom all the time, though, and she always gets distracted by shiny things that catch her eye, so she usually learns about stuff by fiddling with all of the shiny junk she finds, so I guess... even though Swan Mom is supposedly her favorite teacher just by default, Quaire herself is her most effective teacher.

41. If [Văn] had to pick one popular saying to embody his philosophy toward life, what would it be?
Probably "don't throw the baby out with the bathwater" or something like that. It means not to let go of valuable things when throwing away useless things. Văn tends to look at a lot of stuff as "useless" and questions a lot of people's values because he thinks they're way too attached to material things and that each generation is getting dumber and dumber, and knowledge is something that's really important to him, so he hates to see people throw away education and knowledge for posessions and blah blah blah. Gosh, all this kind of hurts to type. What a pretentious asshat. Knowledge and learning is great and all, but does he have to be such a dick about it?

42. How does [Henrike Kneib (Dogs: Bullets & Carnage)] prefer to remember the important moments in her life? Does she talk about them to set them in her mind? Does she take photos? Does she write about them? Does she carefully commit them to memory?
She'd probably just try her best to commit them to memory. She's very bad at writing and finds it an ineffective way of expressing herself, and if she's carrying a camera everywhere and waiting to photograph something, she can't live in the moment as much, right? She probably would also talk about her memories, though, most likely with Franco, who is pretty much the only person she trusts, and since they live together, most of her good memories involve him, so he'd be able to remember things from a different perspective and they could discuss things and have a good time and be cute friends, aaaaaaa...

43. Is [Franco Fontana (Dogs: Bullets & Carnage)] a "regular" anywhere? What do the other people there think of him?
Franco frequents a cafe nearby his house. Henrike doesn't trust him to go very far because of how dangerous the city is and how accident-prone he can be, so they agreed that he should stick to nearby places until she's around to escort him to a different part of town. His favorite location is the cafe because it's easy to kill a few hours reading in the quiet atmosphere. He sits in the very back to disturb as few people as possible, and he usually wears a hood or a hat to conceal his face. Still, the other customers still catch glimpses of him, and many of them--new customers and other regulars alike--are put off by his reptilian appearance and find him very creepy. The servers, while creeped out by him at first, have gotten over it pretty quickly because of how kind he is, and he also tips them very well when he leaves because he feels bad for loitering so long, so they've come to appreciate his presence. There are even two or three of them who stop by his table to make small talk and keep him company when the cafe isn't very busy.

44. When [Demdia Neglar (Homestuck)] interacts with others in a social setting what does she most crave, psychologically speaking? Companionship? Attention? Approval? How does this affect her behavior?
Most of Demdia's actions are motivated by fear, so in a social setting, she would crave secrecy more than anything. She's afraid that someone will detect her mutant status if she makes a single misstep. Not even her best friends know about it. Because of her desire for secrecy, she tries to speak as little as possible, and when she does talk, it's rarely ever about herself. If people ask her questions about herself, she gives cryptic answers and tries to change the subject. Most people find this suspicious and don't trust her. The only reason she even has friends at all is because Quaire finds her cryptic answers funny (mostly because they frustrate people) and Prinse is mostly just taking advantage of the fact that Demdia's a seadweller. Friends in high places, you know?

Wow, finals have been thoroughly kicking my ass. Last night was the first time I've gotten more than 5 consecutive hours of sleep in days. So, I've fallen way behind in this, but I really don't want to give it up because I've already made it this far. I've come such a long way... I have to keep going. So, I guess I'll just post two questions a day until I'm caught up! If nothing else happens, I should be caught up by Saturday, but we'll see.

45. What is the worst gift [Kawaguchi Noboru (Haikyuu!!)] ever received?
A white curly beard from his teammates during Christmas because they all expect him to play Santa. It's not super horrible, but he was still very annoyed with it. Mostly because Itsuki and Akiyama just wanted him to have it so they could make silly puns out of his name like "HO-HO-HOBORU". It's become an inside joke at his expense. Many people on the team (but mostly Aki/Itsu, the Meme Squad) make puns out of his name and call him the wrong thing all the time. Plus, it's Christmas, and they just can't go without a Santa at Christmastime! But he... refuses to play Santa for them. Come on, Noboru, cooperate.

46. Does [Thaddeus] prefer recreational activities that involve other people, or solo activities?
I suppose that if Thaddeus had had time for recreational activities before the start of the apocalypse, he would have preferred solo activites, but he never got to have much fun because his poor living situation didn't allow for it. He and his family lived on the streets, and he spent most of his time looking after his sick little sister, trying to make sure that she was well-fed and sheltered from the elements.

Now that the apocalypse has started, he still doesn't have time to relax and do things for fun because... the zombie outbreak kind of gets in the way. And if there were recreational activities going on, he would probably get pulled into more group activities and not have the opportunity for solo ones because the group he's traveling with has decided that it's better to stick together, so they're always around each other all the time. No one gets any alone time because it's too dangerous to go off by yourself.

47. What is [Hosoya Itsuki (Haikyuu!!)]'s energy level like?
Incredibly low most of the time. The energy he does have, he puts into volleyball and schoolwork, and sometimes he barely has energy to get through those. He mostly spends weekends in bed, trying to recover from the week and scouring the Internet for dank memes.

48. Where does [Bunny Doll] fall on a good vs. evil spectrum?
Definitely on the evil side. While not... completely heartless, she is kind of a scary murderer and has even eaten some people, so um... yeah. She's not really what you'd call a good guy, but she still ends up hanging out with the protagonists a lot and has more of a protagonist role, though toward the end of the story, she sort of switches back to being an antagonist?? Her morals get kinda gray throughout her life, but I'd say, in general, she's more of an evil person.

49. Does [Erika Hart] like to read? If so, what does she like to read, when, and how?
Erika likes to read celebrity gossip magazines and not much else. School's a total bore, and her English class has put her off on reading actual novels. She really only reads the magazines to snicker at them, and she occasionally likes to read them with Terry Ikin so that they can make snide comments about the celebrities to each other.

50. What hurt will [Moonmist Sunsmile Walker] never forgive? How old (and how minor or major) is this hurt? How much does it affect his life?
The biggest hurt in Moonmist's life is that caused by his uncle's death, and while there aren't really any humans to blame since it was a motorcycle accident, I suppose he'll never be able to forgive God for it. He and his uncle were always very close, and his uncle was the one who sparked his interest in motorcycles. They spent a lot of time in the garage working on them together when Moonmist was younger, and he was his uncle's biggest fan, so the uncle's untimely death hit him pretty hard. He still mourns his uncle, even though it's been years, and despite the motorcycle accident, his death didn't put Moonmist off on motorcycles. In fact, it drew him even closer to them, since they were so precious to his uncle, and now he can't imagine himself doing anything that doesn't involve driving or fixing motorcycles in the future.

51. [Takashi] gets up one morning in the usual fashion, but the sun never rises. What does he do?
Takashi spends a lot of time outdoors and doesn't have a watch, so if he wakes up and the sun still isn't up, he'll probably just assume that he woke up too early. He's not one to go back to sleep, though, so he'll get up and start packing up his campsite to move on to the next place, as usual. However, as the day progresses and the sun continues to not rise, he'll begin to get very nervous, assuming the world may have ended while he was asleep. Then, he'll seek out the nearest civilization to see if anyone else is there, and if they can confirm whether or not the world has really ended.

Whether there were people there or not would determine what he would do next. If there were people there, he would probably team up with them and see if they can find out what's going on exactly, and if there weren't people there, he'd keep going until he did come across someone else.

52. How does [Jessica] view minor violations of the law?
Ha, well, it would be pretty hypocritical if she viewed them as a bad thing. She and her friends are almost constantly stirring up trouble. Laws were meant to be broken and all that, and minor violations of the law create interesting situations and are often great fun!

53. If you had to characterize [Beade (Baten Kaitos)] as an animal, what animal would you choose?
Hmm... this is a tough one... Probably like... a ferret. She's very snuggly and likes to have fun and is energetic, but she's also weasly at the same time, so yeah.

54. If someone wrote love poetry to or about [Kunegunda Klimek], how would it read? (Either describe or--go ahead--give it a shot and write some poetry. It doesn't have to be good.)
Gosh, I can't write poetry to save my life. But if somebody wanted to write really impressive love poetry about Kunegunda, it would have to include less about her physical features and more about her worth as a person and why they like having her around. Kunegunda doesn't think very highly of herself and needs almost constant reassurance that people still like her, although she never speaks up about this, and if there was a love poem that was more about her physical traits than her as a person, she might think they only keep her around because she's fun to look at, giving her no more worth than a sculpture or painting.

55. If [Akane (Togainu no Chi)] knew she would die tomorrow, what would she do today?
Something stupid and reckless, I'm sure. Probably try to pick a fight with absolutely everyone and see how many people she can take out before she kicks the bucket herself. Go out in a blaze of glory type o' thing, ya know? She'd probably be a fuckin' idiot and challenge people who are way stronger like Shiki or--if she can find him--the ever-elusive Nano because HEY SHE'S GONNA DIE ANYWAY RIGHT SO SHE MIGHT AS WELL. Basically... she wouldn't really do anything... too out of the ordinary for her. She'd just kick her daily dose of FIGHTING EVERYTHING up a notch.

56. What is [Istoas]' favorite holiday?
This is a lame answer, and I blame the random number generators for giving me this character and this question, but honestly... Istoas is a demon, and not one of my demons who's interested in blending in to human society. He's very proud of the fact that he's a demon and has no interest in the humans or their lifestyle whatsoever, so he doesn't celebrate holidays.

57. How does [Aina] want to live out her older years?
Peacefully. And in one place. And preferably not sleeping in the woods, like Takashi and her currently do. She wants to settle down and have a little garden, possibly make some money selling vegetables. She hopes to have a few kids in the future and maybe even grandchildren.

58. What character trait most annoys [Binx] when he experiences it in others?
Untidiness. Binx really hates people who are sloppy and don't clean up after themselves. He puts a lot of effort into taking care of himself and cleaning up any messes he makes, so it really annoys him when other people don't do the same because it shouldn't be that hard? He doesn't understand how someone can just leave a mess sitting there when the trashcan is less than 20 feet away.

One final update on this journal to say that... I'm finally tired of updating this journal. I didn't quite make it to two months, which is a shame because I was so close, but I made it a lot farther than I expected. And I got some of my inspiration back, just in time for the new semester and my fiction writing class to almost start, so hopefully, I get a little writing done soon. I don't know if I'll post it anywhere, but I do hope to do something at least, even if nobody gets to see it.

Anyway, this has been fun! I hope you guys liked learning a little bit about my characters. I know it was kind of fun to explore them myself, so!! Hopefully you guys weren't too annoyed by this constantly popping up in your inbox. And if you were annoyed, well, today's the last day you'll have to see it.

I also hope everyone had a Merry Christmas!!!
